Shikotsuko Suishantei is the best hot spring hotel I have ever stayed in. Everything was wonderful from the moment I checked in. The receptionist was warm and welcoming. His English was excellent. There was no communication problem at all, even for tourists who don’t speak Japanese. You can enjoy it with peace of mind. The floor-to-ceiling glass windows in the reception hall offer a panoramic view of Lake Shikotsu. The room I stayed in is an 80-square-meter open-air private bath with garden view. The space is very large. The TV can watch Netflix and Disney plus, there is a small wooden bathtub in the bathroom, not to mention the open-air bath outside.
