Choosing Atour Hotel Jiefangbei Bayi Plaza for my trip to Chongqing was definitely the right decision! The location is absolutely fantastic. Bayi Delicious Street is just a few steps away, and Jiefangbei and Shibati are all very close. It was super convenient not having to take a taxi back late at night after exploring and eating. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient with check-in and check-out. They were also quick to respond to any requests. The room was spotlessly clean and didn't have any strange odors. The bed was incredibly comfortable – perfect for unwinding after a long day of sightseeing. The bedding was excellent, and I slept really well. The bathroom had a wet and dry separation, and the toiletries had a pleasant, subtle scent. The breakfast included Chongqing noodles, which tasted pretty good, and there was a decent variety of other options. There's also a self-service laundry room, which is incredibly practical when you're traveling and have a lot of clothes to wash. Overall, my stay was a great experience. It made my trip to Chongqing hassle-free, and I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time!

It's also very close to a subway station, and surrounded by various dining options. Bayi Delicious Street is just a short walk away. The breakfast is abundant and delicious. The service is attentive, making it the perfect choice for your travels.

After my trip to Zhangjiajie, I made a last-minute decision to visit Chongqing. I didn't have a plan, so I thought I'd book a hotel near Jiefangbei. I looked at a few options and finally settled on Atour, and it definitely didn't disappoint. The front desk said they upgraded my room. I haven't stayed in other room types, so I can't really comment on the difference, but my room had a large window with partial river and Twin Towers views. The overall view was pretty good. Since I checked in at night, I was startled when I opened the curtains to see a dark rooftop outside the 5th-floor window. I called to ask if anyone could access it, but for safety, I kept the window locked anyway. The air conditioning worked fine for ventilation. The Atour Planet pillows are very comfortable, and the mattress is excellent. I initially booked for two nights, and since I liked it and wanted to explore more nearby, I extended my stay for another night. If I have the chance to come back, I'd definitely stay here again. Jiefangbei, the pedestrian street, and Shibatiba are all very close. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but it's more than sufficient and the quality is excellent.
