Asiam International Hotel Chongqing Jiefangbei Hongya Cave

We chose this hotel out of the many hotels in Chongqing, and we have no regrets staying here. The distance from the train station is about 40 minutes by Didi. To enter the hotel lobby, if you have a lot of luggage it's no problem—there’s a path that goes around so you don’t have to go up the stairs. Upon entering the lobby, there are several receptionists, and you should go to the one on the left. The check-in process was fast, and we were able to go straight to our room. The room looked exactly like the photos. It came with a washing machine, oven, microwave, stove, sink, sofa, and bathtub. However, we didn’t use all the facilities—especially the bathtub, which seemed like it hadn’t been used for a long time, because when we tried to use it, the water came out a bit dirty. The toilet was complete with a bidet, and the shower was excellent, with additional side sprays that were great for massaging the back and shoulders. There was also a dryer for socks and underwear. The room had two double beds—one outside next to the sofa and one inside the bedroom. The receptionists were very quick in responding to our concerns, and we were very satisfied with their service. The breakfast selection was also very diverse, and everything tasted delicious. The location is very strategic, not far from Jiefangbei—just one block from the hotel. There are many local restaurants nearby, including noodle shops and hotpot places, and Shibati is also only about a 10-minute walk away. We regret staying only 3 nights here—we wanted to stay longer because of how comfortable the hotel was. On our last day when we checked out, there was a male staff member with an earring on his left ear (I forgot to ask his name) who helped carry our luggage into the Didi and assisted with communicating with the driver through our app. Thank you so much for the excellent service, and Asiam Hotel is truly the best choice for first-time tourists visiting Chongqing.

Overall very positive experience. For expats- be careful which location you set on the taxi app, as two asiam hotels exist. Staff- very nice and helpful, but speak no english (you can use voice translate to communicate with them). Room- beautiful, tidy, very comfortable bed and pillows. Cleaning team was top notch. We do recommend this hotel and thank staff for the nice stay.

Our room located on 33rd Floor has a good view of city. Walking distance to food street and restaurants. We didn’t have to wait long for elevators as it came quite fast. Building is occupied by maybe 3 hotels. Go the extreme left for check-in. Reception crew were responsive and polite. Room is spacious and equipments were good. It’s designed like a service apartment with washer. All the usual amenities are well provided except for shoehorn and bathrobe. Toilet is with bidet. Didn’t like the the smell of toiletries though as it too strong and unnatural. Housekeeping did a very good job in cleaning and replenishing. There was always a soft beeping sound whenever we stood near pantry area. We couldn’t find out where it came from. Nevertheless, we find it a reasonable priced room and would recommend anyone who wish to stay in this area. Our room included 1 breakfast daily but you can combine 2 days’ worth for 2 persons. By the way, water will leak into dry area even shower door is tightly closed. Thank you for a good stay.

The location of the hotel is very convenient and the room itself was pretty luxurious for the price. The view at the 40th floor was beautiful and the reception is quick to respond to any messages. Only minor downside would be the elevator speed.

This hotel located in an excellent location straight to 𣁽星楼 (one side to 1st floor and the other side to 22nd floor), which is truly a highlight of this hotel in Chongqing. The reception area also a bonus that facing the beautiful river with beautiful night view, very relax environment to hang around. The hotel room was new and super clean, staffs are excellen and nice whenever we needed, also with all the compliment snacks and drinks! Highly recommended! 👍🏼👍🏼

The hotel was great, we liked everything, very big rooms, bathrooms, and a lot of space for everyone. The view was fantastic, breakfast had a lot of dishes to choose from, not only Chinese.
