FUNGEE River View Hotel (Hongya Cave, Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, Chongqing)

Out of the 10 times I've asked hotels to change my sheets, about 7 times they actually do. Luckily, this hotel was one of the clean ones, falling into those 3 times. The hotel is located near the Kuixing Tower scenic spot and is very close to Hongyadong. The service was excellent.

Firstly, the location is excellent. We were on the 22nd floor, and right outside, we could see the Kuixinglou Bridge, offering a fantastic 8D view of Chongqing's dreamy skyline. It was also just a 5-minute walk to Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street and another 5-minute walk from the ground floor exit to Hongyadong. Secondly, the hotel service was great. The front desk staff were very responsive and accommodating. Traveling with a 1-year-old, baby food was a challenge, but the hotel provided raw eggs and ginger for us. Thirdly, the room was spacious. For this price, you'd only get a 20-square-meter room in Shanghai or Hangzhou. Fourthly, it's a family-friendly hotel, providing a bed rail, though it wasn't very high. There's a tiny ball pit on the 21st floor, which was indeed a bit small. 😂 Overall, we were very satisfied.

This hotel is perfectly located! Hugely convenient for Hongyadong, as it's right on the first floor, and the 22nd floor leads directly to Kuixing Tower. It's also super close to Jiefangbei and the subway station. Even though it's in the city center, it's surprisingly quiet at night. Very satisfied!

The location is fantastic! It's incredibly convenient for transportation. You can walk to Hongyadong right from the first floor exit of the elevator, and the night view there is amazing. Kuixing Building on the 22nd floor, Jiefangbei, the snack street, and shopping are all within walking distance and excellent! The subway is also very close, you can take it to Liziba! The facilities and service attitude are also great! Plus, there's a dedicated butler available to help you with any issues. We booked a family twin room this time and had a wonderful experience!

The hotel's location is super convenient, just a short walk to Hongyadong. They offer free ice cream and popcorn, and the ice cream is especially delicious 😋. The hotel is on the 21st floor, and it's my first time experiencing a hotel where going up to the 22nd floor leads straight to the street – truly amazing Chongqing! It was a great experience.

Absolutely loved it! We got a free upgrade to a river view suite, and when I pulled back the curtains, I was blown away – it was stunning! In the evening, they even offered complimentary desserts like 'bingfen' (shaved ice with toppings), which was a really thoughtful touch. We were very satisfied with our stay; it was clean and very smart.
