Hotels in Xiaonanhai National Geopark Resort, Chongqing

The boss is nice, ethical, honest and trustworthy, and feels like going home. Go to Xiaonanhai, the first choice for accommodation in Shisanzhai, and look for Xianyuan Farmhouse. Affordable price and good sanitary conditions

The homestay in my hometown, I went to Shisanzhai for vacation with my family. The homestay has good hardware, unique decoration style, beautiful scenery, public activity space, upgraded room types, enthusiastic service from the youngest sister, unique Tujia style, rich restaurant dishes, clean environment, it is a place you must check in when friends come!

The owner is very hospitable and the room is clean and tidy. It is very cool in summer, and the location is very good. There is a small river in front of the natural swimming pool. The food is Tujia ecological food, healthy and delicious. Like, like, worth recommending.

It was a great stay at this hotel. The staff is friendly and kind. Breakfast is a good mix of western and Chinese cuisine. I would highly recommend!

Like most Hilton's, the facilities were clean and the service was good. The rooms were cleaned frequently and fresh towels and bedding were provided as well as lots of water (which was very appreciated). The location was ok considering that most of the things to do are spread out and there were many local restaurants in the area.

From the moment we arrived to the time we check out, we received excellent services from staff, some speak very well in English, included but not limited staff from the front desk, bellboys, concierge, and breakfast staff. Bellboy helped carry our luggages to the front desk. Check-in was quick. Room was a good size with a bathtub, a separate shower, and a separate toilet area that provided privacy. Breakfast was great with many Chinese and Western foods. The location is excellent, 5-7 minutes walk to the Jei Fang Bei Square and a fantastic night time food streets. The famous Hongyadong is only 13-15 minutes walk away. There also a wet market just few steps from the hotel where we experienced the life of the local people. We also tried a hotpot restaurant across from the hotel where we found the food was great and the price was so inexpensive. The the price we paid, the services we received, the location; we will definitely stay here again if we come to Chongqing next time. We also wished to thanks Alex Tong from the concierge counter for his help with our package that we tried to send it to the US. He contacted the shipping company and asked them for the price. He also walked us through the shipping form where it was in Chinese. Last but not least, he speaks some English and was able to show us the ways to walk to the Jie Fang Bei and Hongyadong center.

The room is big and comfy, everything is good. And fast service when request drinking water and extra pillow. The location is at the 81 food srreet and also JIE FANG BEI. Will come back again

This hotel location is superb considering that it is situated right in Hongyadong itself. It is also the first hotel in my years of travel whereby the reception is at the highest floor and we have to take the elevator down to our room. Imagine how unique is that. Room is spacious too and the view is splendid. Cleanliness can definitely be improve slightly but overall is a very good hotel.

The location of this hotel is ideal for exploring JieFangBei. It’s also convenient for travelling to most places in Chongqing too. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the room was very clean and well made up. The bed was especially comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again!

My stay at Ascott Raffles City Chongqing was deeply disappointing and unsatisfactory. I had booked a deluxe suite expecting a city view, as indicated in the listing. Instead, I was given a room facing an office block, with such close mutual visibility that privacy concerns were unavoidable. When I raised this issue, I was informed of a ”misunderstanding” in the listing and was told that to receive the room I had initially expected, I would need to pay an additional 30%. This situation was particularly frustrating, given that the oversight was entirely on the hotel's part, with no fault of my own. Moreover, I was mistakenly accused by the front reception of playing loud music one night, despite the fact that I wasn't playing any music. This unfounded complaint, combined with the lack of initiative to verify the claim before contacting me, highlighted a significant lapse in service quality. Given this experience, I advise future travelers to consider establishments that better prioritize customer satisfaction. Based on my positive experiences, the Intercontinental at Raffles City Chongqing offers a more reliable alternative.
