It is clean, pillows were not too soft which is good. However, the toilet has a “hospital” smell and look. It’s a fully wheelchair accessible toilet, and looks like anti-slip flooring, but the smell was obvious when u enter. Luckily the toilet still is clean. Very good location, close to the city centre, not very far from the airport too.

Central location, room clean, spacious, great price, convenient. Few blocks away is the bus terminal where we took the intercity coach to Tekapo. A souvenir shop is next to the hotel too. Some eateries around but not fabulous (overall Christchurch is not an interesting place to me) Staff nice and helpful too. Ibis is a good brand and can't go wrong.

Very convenient spot within Christchurch. The staff were friendly and the amenities good. The beds were comfy, but a little worn. Soundproofing wasn't the greatest. But if you know the Ibis hotel chain, then you will know what you're getting, just a bigger room than most other cities. Overall would recommend and would stay at again

Good hotel, worth the price. Will recommend. Clean, efficient, friendly staff. Breakfast at alternative hotel Novotel was excellent.

Good, good location

It is very convenient to take bus No. 8 from the airport directly to the hotel. The location is excellent, and all the city center attractions can be reached on foot. The room is not big and the bed is relatively small, but it is still highly recommended.

Christchurch is very small. This hotel is located in the square, and restaurants and city attractions are within walking distance. The room is a bit small, but everything else is good

There is a Chinese-speaking lady at the front desk who is very nice and the room is small. Suddenly at around 7 o'clock in the morning, a crazy woman knocked on everyone's door (I was jumping in my sleep, so I didn't open the door for safety). It's within walking distance of the botanical garden and art center, and the seagulls, fish and ducks by the river are also very interesting. The children prepare enough bread to feed the animals. The city is very small. The KFC next to it is very convenient for eating.

This time I came to Christchurch and booked Ibis for two nights. The two beds were quite large and comfortable. They were clean and the hotel staff were super nice! good choice

The hotel is in an excellent location and the service staff is friendly. It can be reached within 5 minutes by public transportation. It is very convenient to the department store and very close to the botanical garden.

Breakfast was delicious. A hotel with excellent access.
