Motel was good and service was good and my stay was good overall

Clean and comfortable. Old style motel. Large area and complete hardware facilities. The decoration design is very particular. The layout of one bedroom and one living room also has a separate bedroom, which is a very interesting room design. Although it is a bit old, it is very clean. With complete facilities, it was the most cost-effective place during my ten days and eight nights trip to New Zealand. The only drawback is that the shower cubicle is very small and it's a bit difficult to turn around. The bathroom is actually quite big. This shower cubicle design is really a bug. I like everything else very much!

This is the second Amross I have stayed at in the South Island. Compared to the one in Dunedin, the reception staff is very welcoming. The location of the hotel is also very good. We used the city walk to walk to the cathedral and other attractions, and it was not very far.

I will book this motel next time I come here. The only thing that needs to be improved is the air outlet of the bathtub. There are some hairs. It would be ideal if it could be improved.

A very satisfying experience. The female boss is very warm and considerate. The room has cupboards and all kitchen utensils. The room is clean, tidy and well-decorated.

Spacious warm units with well equipped kitchens, very clean, parking and access bit tight, busy road, otherwise great place to stay

Good price and location not too far from Christchurch botanical gardens and nice restaurants (30 min walk). Cheerful owner. Facilities were "meh." Terrible washing machines and dryers!

2 night stay in Christchurch area. Lodge was well located for walking to the downtown area and provided easy access out of the city when going to rural attractions in Akaroa. Clean, safe and spacious. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay! We had just a few days in Christchurch & couldn’t be happier with the comfort of our room. It was very clean, cozy, well stocked, and perfect for what we needed. It was close to restaurants, venues, and parks we walked everywhere. This is definitely the place to stay!
