The old hotel is quite interesting and has a different flavor. It has a small heated swimming pool and a two-story duplex room. The second floor has a big bed and a bathroom.

It's a very old hotel. The rooms are large. The duplex layout is very suitable for families to go out. Everything is very complete.

It’s okay to stay for one night to experience it.

The location is very good. It's right next to the cathedral. It's very convenient for shopping and eating around. The room is very classic. You can also have dinner at the bar in front of the hotel. There are resident singers on weekend nights. The a**osphere is very good. The only drawback may be that it is far from the starting point of the retro tram. The station is too close, and there will be a bit of noise when vehicles enter and leave the warehouse in the morning and evening.

Facilities: The facilities are very complete, including a washing machine and dryer. I washed a lot of clothes here. There are three beds, two bathrooms, and kitchen supplies for cooking. Hygiene: Very clean, equipped with a lot of bath towels. Although it is an old building, it is very clean. Environment: The surrounding area is very convenient. We stayed at the Hilton for two days and transferred there. Traditional hotels are more suitable for families, but the Hilton is too small. Moreover, we were overcharged for breakfast on the second day after we checked in at the Hilton, and even after we sent an email, there was no reply. Service: The service is very good, there is valet parking service, and the parking fee is NZD 25 per day. It’s just that the front desk of the hotel is hard to find. It’s next to the restaurant on the first floor. I thought it was a restaurant at first. The historical building is protected and the front desk is not allowed to hang a sign. Many guests couldn’t find it. We also found it after going around in a circle or asking the waiter in the restaurant next to it. . Picture 1 is the hotel entrance. It is said that it was once the city hall and was later transformed into a hotel and restaurant. Overall very good, the only drawback is that there is no air conditioning.
