In Christchurch, a self-driving transfer station in New Zealand, I found this old building from 1917. It is very unique and the interior decoration is very eye-catching. It is surrounded by the Art Center and opposite the Botanical Garden. However, the windows are not soundproof, and the sound of tourists talking and vehicle loading and unloading outside is very loud, especially in the morning.

The location is super good, just a few minutes walk to the Avon River and the Botanic Gardens. The hotel is very unique and has obviously been renovated. It is very clean and the bedding is very comfortable. The experience is really great ~

The location of the hotel is great, right across from the Botanic Garden, a converted university, surrounded by art centers and restaurants, all very good. It's just that the parking lot is being rebuilt now. Our room happens to be on the first floor facing the parking lot. There is always light pollution at night, noise from the reconstruction construction, and the sound of cars coming and going on the street. The accommodation experience is very bad. Moreover, this room was originally prepared for disabled people. The equipment in the toilets are all disabled toilets. The bathroom is only covered with curtains. There is no door or bathtub. In addition, the water in the bathroom is very small. Depressed, or the city center facilities are not enough. All in all, this experience is not worth it at this price.

Quiet location but not too far to walk to the main shopping and restaurant area. Very nicely decorated. Comfortable, clean and well equipped room. Parking next door but it costs and is on a first come first served basis. There was no one on reception when we arrived mid afternoon which was disappointing for a hotel of this standard. No meals available in the hotel.
