Harbour Hotel & Spa Christchurch

We had a 3 day stay at the Harbour Hotel in Christchurch. We ate dinner there twice - once at "The Upper Deck" and once at "The Jetty". Both meals were excellent: we had lovely tables, the food was great and the service made us feel special. The experience at breakfast was the same, with attentive service from all the staff and great food served on the open veranda. Although we were using the hotel as a base for our walks around the area, we also used the spa which was well maintained and had all the facilities you could want. We did have an issue with our assigned room which was not as ordered from Trip.com. Although the reception team reconfirmed they had allocated the room accurately based on what Trip.com had ordered for us, the Cherry the reception manager took it on herself to compensate us for the mismatch. From start to finish the service at The Harbour was outstanding. All the staff that served us in reception, the bar, the restaurants and the spa were helpful, efficient and friendly. Although our room was smaller than we'd ordered, it was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. All in all, this was one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in, this in no small part due to the professionalism and caring attitude of the staff team. We will return !

Great location overlooking the harbour with an easy walk to the quayside and beaches. We were worried the "cosy" room would be too small but it was fine. This was a repeated visit and we will go again. Good service, super harbour side restaurant and relaxing spa. Plenty to do nearby - seaside,highcliff castle (photo) and historic town

We chose the Harbour Hotel as our wedding venue and couldn't be happier with that decision. The events team did an amazing job of helping us plan and prepare for the big day and accommodated all of our needs without any problems. We'd like to thank Lauren in particular for her role in that. On the day itself Sher and the banqueting team also did an amazing job of ensuring that everything proceeded smoothly and exactly as planned. The service and quality of the food was first rate. The quality of the accommodation is excellent and of course the location is perfect for a wedding or special party with the views across the harbour to Mudeford Quay and beach. Despite the weather being a little unsettled on the day we still managed to get some great photographs outside and inside. We are very grateful to all the staff at the hotel who were involved in making our day extra special.

Really good place for our weekend with the family. Room comfortable & spacious. Ate & drank very well, at both Upper Deck, and the Jetty. Although the food equally good at both, the one grumble would be that the latter is too noisy; the smaller room makes it difficult to chat. Highlight having drinks looking out over the harbour, amazing views. Staff very good, with ideal balance of humour & efficiency, not least our main server at dinner, Daniel. Would happily return.

THE BEST WEDDING! Me and my partner got married here at the start of April and Christchurch Harbour Hotel couldn't have been better! Lauren was absolutely amazing throughout the whole preparation phase and was always so supportive and accommodating to our needs, we were so grateful to her being so kind! On the day itself Sher was also brilliant all day and made sure our special day ran so smoothly. In general, the hotel was perfect and all the staff were so helpful offering us a brilliant experience and the best wedding day at such a beautiful venue.. Just returned from another break at the Harbour Hotel. The staff are always such a credit to the hotel, with a special mention to Daniel in the Upper Deck restaurant. He served us each evening and was really friendly and professional. The food was of a very high standard, with every meal so tasty and well presented. Would have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful hotel.

Excellent Hotel,we were treated to a short break for our 50th anniversary,from check in to check out the staff here are first rate as are the facilities. We can thoroughly recommend the choice of menus for lunch and dinner with a good choice of wines etc. Great choice for a short break or longer.

I haven’t actually stay yet (I have stayed at one other harbour hotel) but my first impression is that Olivia on Reception is credit to the company. If my stay is as good as her customer service then, I’m in for a very lovely weekend. I am very much looking forward to my stay.

Sunday lunch with the family was excellent, and enhanced by the service given to us Phil, who made sure we had a very good experience.
