Harbour Hotel & Spa Christchurch

We had a 3 day stay at the Harbour Hotel in Christchurch. We ate dinner there twice - once at "The Upper Deck" and once at "The Jetty". Both meals were excellent: we had lovely tables, the food was great and the service made us feel special. The experience at breakfast was the same, with attentive service from all the staff and great food served on the open veranda. Although we were using the hotel as a base for our walks around the area, we also used the spa which was well maintained and had all the facilities you could want. We did have an issue with our assigned room which was not as ordered from Trip.com. Although the reception team reconfirmed they had allocated the room accurately based on what Trip.com had ordered for us, the Cherry the reception manager took it on herself to compensate us for the mismatch. From start to finish the service at The Harbour was outstanding. All the staff that served us in reception, the bar, the restaurants and the spa were helpful, efficient and friendly. Although our room was smaller than we'd ordered, it was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. All in all, this was one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in, this in no small part due to the professionalism and caring attitude of the staff team. We will return !

Great location overlooking the harbour with an easy walk to the quayside and beaches. We were worried the "cosy" room would be too small but it was fine. This was a repeated visit and we will go again. Good service, super harbour side restaurant and relaxing spa. Plenty to do nearby - seaside,highcliff castle (photo) and historic town

Great location if you need to be in Mudeford/Christchurch as this small hotel chain overlooks the Harbour. The double rooms are spacious and en-suite, and the finishing touches were unusual and excellent... this is the first time Gin was available as a complimentary item. The staff were excellent, and accommodating - for instance we arrived back from a 50th party quite late, we should have used room service, but the staff made us hot chocolate in the bar area and didn't charge us either! Truly fabulous experience. Breakfast was delicious too. Pancakes went down well, so did the full-english. Highly recommended.

Visited for my mums 80th. Great welcome and friendly check in always a good sign. The rooms were clean and tidy with lovely views of the Harbour. The restaurant service was excellent and the food was great, nothing was too much trouble, staff were friendly and attentive. Great nights sleep comfy bed. The spa facilities are great, the pool a little colder than expected but a lovely pool, jacuzzi. Steam and sauna. Breakfast was good a little disappointed that we had to ask for the juices to be topped up along with the fruit, overall though good breakfast friendly staff. Lovely hotel and great location well worth a visit.

We had 5 days at this wonderful hotel. From beginning to end we experienced fantastic, attentive, kind and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them, they all work extremely hard to provide you with everything you could possibly want. A special mention for David, he greeted us upon arrival and took our luggage to our room for us, we had a lovely chat with him about the local area, and he gave us recommendations on things to do. Would also like to mention Sarah and Louise in the Spa, my husband and I had a massage and hot stone treatment with them and came out feeling relaxed and knot free. The spa facilities were excellent, and having use of them throughout our stay was a real luxury. Everywhere is kept spotlessly clean, tidy and smelling delicious. We used room service on several occasions during our stay and within minutes we had our request at the door. The variety of choice for the continental breakfast was outstanding, everything from fresh fruit to cereals, cooked meats, and a choice of pastries and cakes. We had a delicious evening meal at The Upper Deck all with a spectacular view of Mudeford Spit. Would thoroughly recommend and look forward to returning.

Really enjoyed our stay. Room was just right for us - loved the gin decanter! I used the Spa facilities, swimming, steam room and jacuzzi all excellent. Food was delicious with perfect portions and the waiting staff were very good and friendly. Will return.

I visited the spa for a massage as a birthday treat and I would highly recommend! Natasha was really great and the whole experience was very relaxing. The spa facilities were really lovely and being able to sit in the hideaway and look out over the quay after the treatment was great.

Our room was amazing with a beautiful view. The staff including Lyn on reception and Phil in the Upper Deck restaurant were so helpful, kind and professional. All staff were polite and nothing too much trouble. The food was lovely always hot and quick service. We cannot recommend this hotel enough and plan of returning as the setting in beautiful with views across the harbour to Mudeforde Sands and beach huts. We were very lucky with the weather and able to eat out on the Upper Deck every day, day the Jetty restaurant was lovely as well. Can recommend this hotel.
