My second stay at this hotel in the past month. I was concerned about the hotel after reading some of the reviews. I needed to stay in the Newark area. My first stay was one night but impressive. My room was clean and updated. The bed was very comfortable and my body felt well rested the next morning. My second stay was even better, i stayed for a few days. Now they are in the midst of a renovation. This may not be good for some travelers but it was not a major issue. Room was clean and the breakfast good and plentiful. The breakfast was not the top 10 but good clean and filling. I will stay here again and I look forward to the renovated hotel. BTW the staff is off the hook great beat staff in a while.

Since the hotel refuses, after several communications with them asking to let the public know the hotel is under MAJOR RENOVATION I wanted to share. Please be aware that this hotel is NOT in good condition and potential guests should be aware of the condition of the hotel to make an informed decision before booking.

Property was great. Staff was fantastic only issue I had is I never was asked when booking if I’d be traveling with a pet nor did I see anywhere that stated there would be such a high fee for having a pet at the pet friendly hotel. That’s more an issue with ******* I think than the hotel however the fee is almost as much as the room itself and is completely non refundable. I understand many pet owners think their pets are perfect angels and in reality they are not and should be charged for any damage they do. I just don’t think a person should pay double if their pet isn’t a terror. Perhaps ******* could add an option of adding a pet to your trip so people know ahead of time the total cost of their room in advance. Thank you

our room was right next to the door for the stairs, you can hear the door open and shut and the people. other than that highly recommend this hotel

2 queen room was pretty good, better than average. Location close to a lot of shopping, which is what we mostly did. Breakfast was average. Seemed like they had an issue for breakfast one of the days, but I think that was a one-off.

Just some maintenance problems that needed fixing, but otherwise room & facility very nice. Really enjoyed having breakfast there.
