Holiday Inn Express & Suites CHRISTIANSBURG by IHG

Little over price but good was great! Wish they had a bar and a whirlpool/hot tub or something to relax a little more!

Check in experience a zero, Clerk insisted that I not my wife check in and refused her. We travel for a living and check into Hotels 140-200 times a year over the last 40 years, we have a system the wife checks us in and I unload the Vehicle and clean it out. We utilize the 4 major brands and travel internationally as well and not once has it been an issue until this one clerk in Christiansburg Va said she was doing her job unlike the 8000 clerks in our history, she was the one soul who has done her job properly by refusing to allow my wife with reservation In hand ID and credit card used for such. Didn’t get that far she refused to assist from the first word, she knows Hospitality not. With the many choices and brands in Christiansburg which we stay at multiple times a year I will choose differently in the future. The first impressions stick and she has left one for us. She is doing a great disservice to an otherwise decent hotel. I have read other reviews commenting on check in grouch so apparently they can’t find a replacement as the grouch is still present.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Sparkling clean and bright room and public areas. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast selection and quality of items. Good value. Just can't say enough good about this hotel in a somewhat out of the way small town in southwestern Virginia.

First off, I got there an hour or so before their official check in time of 3:00pm. I know for a fact that there are rooms cleaned by this time but the desk said come back at 3. Not rude but definitely not making the customer feel welcome. Second, the hvac unit sounded like a 747 taking off its vibrations were so bad. I had to unplug it at 1:30am it was so loud and wouldn’t shut off on its own. The shower pressure wasn’t good and there was a hair in the shower, not mine. Breakfast was good, and the motel is in a good location. Personally, I’ll take my $185 elsewhere next time.

This Holiday Inn express was excellent proper is nice and clean. Service was excellent. Breakfast was delicious overall all star.

Very nice for the price. Good hot breakfast. Workout room was nice. Pool was nice but no hot tub I could find. Close proximity to a nice diner restaurant with a live band

I did not stay for business and did not pay any attention to business related amenities.

Breakfast was excellent with turkey sausage, pork sausage and bacon all offered. Coffee machines featured freshly ground beans. Property was clean and quiet. Staff at desk were very friendly

Breakfast was great! Got a late checkout. Left cell phone went back and the maid had put it up and and returned it to me. Very friendly and awesome stay.
