Super 8 by Wyndham Christiansburg

Person at the front office was nice enough, had to move rooms because the original room smelled like smoke. Second room smelled like ****. Paper thin walls, I could hear everything going on in the rooms on either side of me. Police were going in and out of the parking lot the entire night, probably not a good sign. Worth spending like $20-30 more to get a better hotel across the street.

Parking was easy yes staff nice room was clean but oh my mercy the smoke smell was horrible. I’m not a smoker. When I left I had to go wash my clothes as the smell was too much for me.

Start with parking, the setup is horrible. If you get a middle breezeway room be prepared to carry your stuff a ways. The rooms floors had a weird slimy feel. I had Do Not Disturb note left with office and on my door, yet the maids still woke me up every morning trying to come in my room, likely cause none of them could speak or read English. This hotel also one of the slum ones that rent to people like a residence, and the crowds hanging out were the usual loud, unsavory all hours of the night. Its cheapest in town, but its obvious now why. Stay away if you can afford to do so.

There was an old dirty looking armchair in the corner. Hair clog in the bathroom sink and no stopper for the sink. Heating unit ran so loudly TV volume had to be turned up very high. No facial napkins in the container. A small glob of some small substance was on the floor between the bed and table lamp furniture surfaces or scratched and worn so they did not look clean. The staff I met however were polite and helpful.

Really nice room. The added amenities like Birthday and shampoo in the sheets are really helpful. Nice continental breakfast with good coffee is also a plus. Definitely will use again.

The fridge didn't shut all the way the toilet was broken and the door kept breaking not letting us in.

Sheets weren’t washed and smelled like body odor, also at 9:30 AM room service opened the door as I was asleep then again at 10:30 am did the same thing

Room was very clean and comfortable. Very good price .

The room was disgusting. There was mold in the bathroom, crusty stuff on the comforter and hairs in the sheets. We never unpacked, we just checked out and found another room for the night. The best thing about the hotel was the gentleman at the front desk was very friendly. He just couldn’t give us a refund because we booked thru a third party.
