The cafe is good with great lattes! Fun vibes with the arcade games and enjoyed being out by the pool and bonfire setup.
One complaint: Room was facing the highway and would constantly get woken up by speeding cars throughout the night, and I am not typically a light sleeper.
I would stay here again but will make sure to request a room facing away from the freeway for a better nights sleep.

It’s a cool location but it seemed like we had to chase down someone all the time to get new towels. We would be gone for several hours and come back to room service not even touching our room. We ended up having to throw out trash that was piling in the bathroom and go to the front desk to get towels. At one point we were a girl screaming late at night and were worried our car was going to be vandalized.

The rooms are updated and cute. We were in the back- next to the freeway and it was noisy all night.

This hotel was amazing and very clean. In fact, much cleaner than many three or four star hotels I’ve been to. The cleaning staff is amazing and they launder on premises, so they always have fresh sheets. There’s also a lot of good places to eat nearby. I definitely recommend it and will stay here again!

This was my family's second time staying at the Rambler, and it continues to be our go-to spot when we visit San Diego. The rooms are well-decorated, clean, and comfortable. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the value is incredible (40% off excellent coffee? Yes please!). The location is great - Easy access to San Diego proper/Coronado by car, and very convenient to light rail into town if you prefer public transit. Will definitely be coming back again!
