All the furniture was dusty. Never emptied trash can in room we had to empty ourselves. Everything filthy. There were NO AMMENTIES at all. You made your coffee and provided your own creamer, sugar. Nothing but a room was provided. Talked to other people in different hotels and they paid less than we did and were provided a hot breakfast each morning and a TV in their room. This was just a half a step above tent camping! Never would recommend Iceburg Inn.

Last minute trip. Took what I could get. It's clean, water is hot, wifi is good, it's convenient. Owners are rude, care little for visitors unless photography group. Demeaning to the one good local employee. Public areas junky. Entrance piled with recyclables. If any place else they would be out of business.

Barely a step above camping - no amenities. My room had a boarded up window, a bucket hanging on the faucet in the shower, and it was used for storage of linens and cases of toilet paper. I made sure my room was locked before I left for the day and when I returned it was unlocked. No area to gather and relax. The location was the only good thing about it. We talked to several people who stayed at other hotels that were less expensive, nicer and they had breakfast included.

Really angry with your guide ANGELA who chase the polar bear and made it frightened to run to escape at about 11:30am today (I witnessed). It is shame for a polar bear guide to behave in this way. Disgusting. More than 50 tourists could not continue to take photos of polar bear because of her behaviour.

I did this trip (with my husband 88 yrs old and my granddaughter of 10 yrs old) with barley planing for it. I was very stressed out because I didn’t have time to book the tours, so I didn’t know wether there would be availability at reasonable cost. That worry went away when I called Iceberg Inn , and they told me not to worry about anything , they will take care of all those details. Bill and Angelica are the owners of a centric inn; they are wonderful people. She is a great guide and photographer. The tours they provide , at a reasonable cost, includes: the Aurora Borealis , polar bears, others and the can coordinate for the dog sled rides. ( We took all of them in two days). The inn is pretty simple but the interior paintings/ murals are amazing. We really enjoyed our stay. The rest is for you to find out. P. S. Notes: Vegetarians beware of the food, very scarce. Also most of the time the Aurora Borealis is hard to see, need potent camaras, phones and binoculars. Come prepare to the Artic.

From the moment we walked into the Iceberg Inn we were greeted with warm, friendly and hospitality from Angela and Bill; by the time we left we were friends. We stayed 1 week with Bill and Angela and they are so knowledgeable, welcoming, outgoing and wonderful hosts. Angela took us on her bear watching and photo tour; it was the most fantastic time that we could have had and will remember our time finding beautiful scenery and wildlife forever. It was so special. We saw many bears and other wildlife; she is dedicated to making sure you have a memorable time on her tour. The room was clean and comfortable with hot showers, clean bathroom, comfortable clean beds, a window that opened for fresh air and a fridge. Most restaurants are closed on Sundays so we stocked up and had our food in the fridge to eat. Bill had coffee ready for us every single morning with such a lovely, happy face and Angela baked delicious scones one day for us. There is a gathering space to meet other guests also. We had much down time in Churchill so we just stayed in our room to catch up on reading and playing cribbage; we felt comfortable and often asked for afternoon coffee and they were always ready to help us. Bill and Angela are such hospitable and warm people and they are very knowledgeable about what to do in town, where to find treasures to see and how to stay safe. I really can't say enough about our stay. We will be back to visit them again. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

We stayed at Iceberg Inn during the first week of August, 2023. If we could award Bill & Angela (owners) six stars, we would, without hesitation! You are not only treated as guests, you are invited in as family. It is impossible to feel more comfortable and welcome! From the moment we met Angela and her assistant, Braham, at the train station, their positivity and excitement was contagious. We were greeted with open, welcoming arms, and instantly, we knew we made the right choice for our hosts in Churchill. Throughout the week we were treated to fun extras. Angela was taking in her recyclables and observed a mama bear and cub on the shore en route. She immediately called us and Bill back at Iceberg. She picked us up to see a wonderful sight! The added perk about staying at Iceberg Inn is that Angela is a professional photographer. All of our experiences with her were recorded not only on our iphones, but with her camera equipment and 800 lens! She graciously airdropped all of these magnificent photos at the end of the day. Other guests on our daily excursions commented how fortunate we were to have her as a host as they, too, became accustomed to her presence and tripod at our daily drop offs/pickups : ) We recommend with utmost confidence staying with Bill & Angela at Iceberg Inn. When you are traveling all the way to Churchill, you want a top notch experience and a great value. This is exactly what Bill & Angela offer their travelers. If we designed our itinerary all over again, (now after experiencing Churchill first hand) we absolutely would not change a thing! Do yourself a favor and stay with friendly faces that listen and go the extra mile!!

The rooms are very spacious with comfortable beds . The proprietor Bill is very helpful and accommodating. Braun is a local artist the works for the iceberg inn. He gave us a very insightful tour of the town from a local’s perspective. This motel is the closest to the train station and less than a seven minute walk from 3 restaurants and the town library. Definitely dress in layers as the weather is unpredictable. I would give my stay here 10/10. 😊

Bill and Angela were a friendly couple, however we were advised we would be collected at the airport. There was no one looking for us and had to get some to ring them. They told us to take a taxi. The room was comfortable but nothing fancy, which was fine by us, however the prices in Churchill are expensive due to the limited tourist season. But when you take away the bear season, the beluga season the northern lights season, I was wondering that the only down time was one season so very pricey for basic accommodation. Our initial contact with Bill, was that there was no breakfast supplied, you would have to go across the road to the cafe, not the best option at 6.00am in the morning to then make a tour. This time of the year is heading into winter. However we found out there was toast available, so that was good. We were told $5, then told no it’s free, then told he would collect the breakfast money before we leave. Then didn’t!! Very confusing. The tours offered were pretty much the same - chasing bears around the area looking for them. No room service is offered, we were there for a week. You have to get in early for a hot shower, I think the system only heats up once in 24 hours. Angela did come and get us one day, when a bear was sighted just near the airport, that was kind of her.
