Chuiba was just perfect, a little piece of paradise on the coast of Mozambique. Hot and humid, just the way it should be. Absolutely lovely and comfortable decor, you would think you're in Bali. It's not far from the main town, but feels completely secluded. The food was delicious, the swordfish carpaccio and gigantic crayfish were a delight! Easy 2 and half hours from Johannesburg. Swimmable beach, refreshing pools for a small number of guests. The service was discreet and Maria and Domingos make you feel right at home. My husband and I will surely return!

Siamo sempre in cerca dei posti incontaminati a stretto contatto con la natura e Chuiba Bay Lodge è stata una bellissima scoperta. Relax, mare caldo, cucina squisita...sono state due settimane di coccole. Un enorme grazie a Delio e Maria per l'ospitalità e la disponibilità. Ci hanno aiutato ad organizzare un mini safari a Gorongosa National Park, è stata una piacevole avventura. La Pemba città è facilmente raggiungibile con un taxi per chi vuole curiosare oppure organizzare qualche immersione. Abbiamo mangiato in qualche ristorante locale, ma i piatti di Maria non li batte nessuno. Consiglio questo posto a chi vuole evitare il turismo di massa e staccare completamente la spina, noi sicuramente ritorneremo. Un grosso abbraccio a tutti i ragazzi che rendono questo posto un angolo del paradiso.

An excellent beachside get away by the quiet sands and reef of Chuiba beach. Delio and Maria couldn't have been better hosts, nor more helpful, and theirs is a kitchen of worth. Highly recommended on every level.

Very nice place to stay for relaxing , very quiet , food delicious , perfect location , perfect beach . Very high quality services, we stayed a weekend and it was difficult to leave the place , beautiful beach view , and very safe place to stay ….

Surprise is the feeling that defines our arrival at Chuiba Bay Lodge. The gate opens and we enter a space full of nature with two charming swimming pools and a leisure area and restaurant that excel in good taste in terms of decoration. The bedroom stands out for its generous size and in the bathroom a bathtub overlooking the gardens invites you to relax. Breakfast and all other meals we had were great. A word of thanks to the employees, always available and kind. Our thanks also to the owners, Délio for his sympathy and Maria for sharing their life stories that gave rise to moments of real laughter and fun. It was an enriching experience. Isabel and Vasco
