Estive muito recentemente no Hotel Douro Scala, com o intuito de relaxar e disfrutar do bom tempo que se fazia sentir durante a minha estadia, no entanto por falta de vontade ou por má vontade dos funcionários deste hotel, a piscina exterior não dispunha de espreguiçadeiras, sendo impossível tirar proveito da mesma. Considero uma falha grave, pois, apesar da piscina interior sem interessante, o meu objetivo era aproveitar a exterior e o bom tempo que se fazia sentir.

Hotel de 5 estrelas que falha em aspetos básicos. Atendimento muito pouco empático, simpático, ou atencioso. Espaço exterior pouco cuidado com erva em vez de relva e piscina exterior bem como o espaço envolvente ao "abandono". Pequeno almoço muito limitado de opções e qualidade, indigno de um hotel de 3 estrelas quanto mais de 5 estrelas. Já para não falar que não fazem gestão de mesas e quando fomos tomar o pequeno almoço não havia mesas disponíveis pelo que tivemos que aguardar. Espaço SPA sem funcionário para gestão de espaço pelo que foi impossível usar , por exemplo, o jacuzzi uma vez que estava sempre ocupado. Foi solicitado na recepção 2 roupões uma vez que não estavam disponíveis no quarto. O funcionário da recepção disse que me iam entregar no quarto e até ao check out nunca foram entregues. Fiquei num quarto que não havia sinal de wi-fi, tendo notado que em vários pontos do hotel não havia wi-fi disponível. Para terminar, entre outras coisas que poderiam aqui ser ditas, referir que havia teias de aranha no quarto. Compreendo que é um espaço campestre, mas deveria haver mais brio na limpeza.
