The Cincinnatian Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton

Great experience. No problem with check in even though booking was done through a third party

The hvac system did not work properly. Inside temperature was 76* with thermostat set to 68*. The shower had hair on the walls and floor. And mold in the shower.

So disappointed; stayed at the Cincinnatian in late April 2024 for three nights in a premium room. Knew the moment we walked into the lobby that the stay was going to be a disappoin**ent. Quite simply, this hotel has been ruined by a Big Hotel takeover. Staff is *****ped down to a bare minimum and clearly used to disgruntled and unhappy guests. It was made clear at check in that housekeeping was on request only (Typical these days in Big Hotel properties, so while not a surprise, it's never good to lead with that) and the term request became clear, when after our second night, I requested housekeeping and was told it wasn't possible due to full occupancy and staffing issues. Sanitation clearly an issue hotel wide; rooms, lobby, hallways, front entrance, everything. The hotel has been renovated and if you enjoy half hazard decor that doesn't remotely fit the building, plastic flooring in your hotel room, loose fixtures etc. the Cincinnatian will not disappoint. Cheap everything, right down to bare minimum towels, no extra blankets, threadbare sheets etc. Cheap, cheap, cheap. Priority on profit is clear with no regard given to guest experience. Previous reviewers have well covered the poor housekeeping and other lack of services, poor restaurant etc. Staff is demoralized, who wouldn't be under these circumstances? This Grand Old Hotel has been eviscerated and left to wither in the shell of it's former beauty. So sad. I don't know what Curio Collection means but it does not translate into anything beyond a discount motel in downtown Cincinnati. If you are looking for a full service Hotel, look elsewhere.

Car got broken into when I let valet park my vehicle.

This is a beautiful historic hotel in the heart of downtown. Sightseeing, entertainment and shopping are all nearby and most in walking distance. The rooms are a nice size even if a bit older but that’s the beauty of this charming building. Request a high floor to minimize street noise. A corner room offers room to spread out. The amenities and onsite eating options are good. The staff is friendly and attentive.

Simon was very helpful at the valet stand. The text message based valet ticket makes ordering your car easy. The Kidd coffee shop has great baked goods and coffee. I also like their smoothies and breakfast sandwiches. Some of the hotel rooms have whirlpools.

I thought there would have been more options for restaurants inside this huge hotel. The bar / snack was very disappounting. My husband and I sat there over 15 minutes before anyone came out the back to notice us. The menu was extremely limited and not pleasing. Otherwise I truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Nice room, fireplace, and TV in tub area. Valet option is reasonably priced, the kitchen and restaurant was closed, but good restaurant down the street. Check in and valet service went quickly, and app works well for room key. Thank you to everyone, especially Shea!
