傢俱老舊，設施不完備，各種不方便，完全不值收取房價。一次性拖鞋，煮水壺都是主動要才給送過來的。話説8000元一晚的收費，讓客人主動要就是服務不到位。除了賣個城堡概念，沒其他值得去的了。餐廳水準也非常一般。

I'm traveling alone and Castello di Velona was the best in Tuscany. 360° view of the valley, sunset at dinner, swimming pool with thermal waters (between 34º and 36º). The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff. The wine tasting with Gian Moris was beyond exceptional. He was a wonderful teacher, tireless in all his explanations, from the volcanic soil to the harvest and production of Brunello di Montalcino. I highly recommend it!

Abbiamo soggiornato al Castello per il nostro anniversario . La struttura è meravigliosa, curata nei dettagli. Gli "optional" della suite sono grandiosi: vasca con acqua termale calda, giardino con una vista sulla Val d'Orcia da lasciare senza fiato, minibar fornitissimo, e pulizia impeccabile . La colazione perfetta servita da personale gentilissimo e cortese. Anche la SPA merita 5 stelle , ambiente curato , personale cortese e professionale con sevizio medico al bisogno, il Dott. Bruno mi è stato molto utile! Decisamente da consigliare per un fine settimana romantico di relax e benessere. Altro dettaglio: le piscine di acqua termale calda sono aperte h24!

We will never go there again and will tell others to avoid at all costs. Truly a disgrace as we were on our honeymoon and were extremely disappointed with the entire experience. Every guest deserves the same level of service… Worst part is the customer service and staff. Unless you speak Italian or present as ultra wealthy, the staff including management does not look your way. Extremely expensive food as the hotel knows you do not have other options close by. A drink costs 30 euros while a pizza will cost you over 40 euros. An average meal for two will be more than 150 euros and this does not include purchasing alcohol. To add, the room was dirty when we entered, leftover food still in the fridge. Furniture old and dated. When we expressed our displeasure, all the hotel did was give us a 40 euro bottle of wine and said they hope we came back. The hotel has great amenities but the service negatively impacted the experience.

I recently visited Castello di Velona in Tuscany with friends and had an amazing time. The location is stunning, offering breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside. The accommodations were luxurious, blending historic charm with modern comfort. The service was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff. We enjoyed the exquisite local cuisine at the on-site restaurant and relaxed in the thermal spa. The stay was amazing and comfortable. Staffs were very polite with the hospitality. Prasun Gupta hosted us with the best possible ways. Really Looking forward to visit again and experience the stay all over again. Very satisfied and happy.

Absolutely incredible place. The hotel has a 360• view of the Tuscan valleys, located in the heart of Val D’Orcia. The service is impeccable. Everyone is kind and helpful. The rooms feel like you are royalties. I highly highly recommend! This is the best accommodation we stayed at in Tuscany.

Sono tornato con la mia compagna, presso il castello di Velona dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato, qui la mia prima volta proprio lo scorso anno. Immerso nella val d'Orcia, tranquillità, pace , serenità. La mia camera con giardino, aveva una vista spettacolare e dotata di ogni confort, wifi gratuita in tutta la struttura, un letto comodissimo,anallergico, armadi spaziosi per i bagagli e non solo, il bagno, una cosa spettacolare,tutto in marmo e poi, acqua termale che scorre direttamente dai rubinetti della vasca da bagno. La cucina tipica, ottima la cottura dei cibi soprattutto delle carne. Uno straordinario menù proposto dall' FB manager ci ha consigliato per le nostre cene senza dimenticare, il sommelier, che ha saputo deliziarci con del brunello di montalcino prodotto proprio dal castello di Velona.Un ringraziamento vá a tutto il personale, soprattutto il ricevimento, Diego,Roberta, Cristian, Arianna, Davide, Massimo, ma anche il direttore Sapia, scrupolosi in tutto e per tutto, molto professionali, attenti alle esigenze di ogni ospite. Ho pernottato solo tre notti, ma incombenze lavorative, mi hanno portato via da questo piccolo grande mondo di puro relax... Mi ero promesso che sarei ritornato e così ho fatto. E consiglio anche a tanti di dedicarmi un momento per venire in questa magica realtà. La struttura è dotata di ogni comfort e per quanto possa sembrare "datato " proprio quest'ultimo rende il soggiorno magicamente perfetto. Aiutato dal ricevimento, ho avuto la possibilità di noleggiare bici elettriche e scooters; Infinitamente grazie ! Arrivederci Castello di Velona

A really beautiful location. Great facilities; fabulous gym, pool area, spa and a stunning picturesque view. There are plenty of restaurants although the main evening restaurant is ‘high end’ so if you prefer easy dining options I.e pasta, salads, simple meat options then this is less well suited. Pool bar, which is open during the day is nice, with simpler but well prepared food options. The rooms are gorgeous (we stayed in a suite with a garden). Very well equipped, spacious, air con, garden seating, lovely bathroom. Remember check in is not until 4pm, and breakfast is only served until 10am, and is relatively basic, but nice (free options: cereals, toast, yogurts, juices, and some simple hot options). There is a beautiful little town about 30mins walk (you need to be fit) or 5 mins drive and there are some wonderful local restaurants serving amazing local cuisine and wine.
