"The bed was very comfortable and I slept really well. However, at first there was only one large towel in the room. I called to request more, but it took some time and I had to call again before receiving them. After the cleaning, no fresh towels were provided either. Parking was excellent — the valet service was always on time and very well organized. Compliments to the team!"

"A very good city hotel. Delicious breakfasts and dinners with a great selection. The room was clean and smoke-free. The beach is a 30-minute walk away. It was quiet and not crowded. Conveniently located near public transport."

"Room: The room was spacious and clean, though amenities and facilities were definitely showing age with no sign of upgrade / update (including outlets, water boiler, lighting, gym facilities). There was no hot water in the showers - after speaking with several different people at reception I was told to ”leave it running for 20 minutes or so”, which (1) was shocking considering the amount of water that would waste; and (2) did not ultimately work anyway. Several outlets were also not working in the room. F&B: There is a restaurant and a cafe (Costa Coffee) on 1/F and both have decent food with reasonable pricing. Given the hotel is located around the airport with nothing else around, those were the only choices for F&B without venturing into the city. Breakfast options were decent and if your flight is before the breakfast hours, you can ask for a breakfast package to be prepared upon checkout. Facilities: The gym was small with sparse machines (e.g. three treadmills). Location: Although it is the only airport hotel in Abu Dhabi, it is not all that close to the airport. Except for the benefit of the airport shuttle (which runs only once per hour), there appear to be better hotels in the vicinity at a similar driving distance and similar price. The mark-up in the pricing seems to only be attributable to the monopoly it has over the airport zone. While the staff is friendly and food is decent, the value for money on this occasion felt poor."

"I had a wonderful stay at this brand-new hotel. The room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and very comfortable. A special thanks to Mahdi, the night shift manager, who went above and beyond to help me when I needed to move rooms due to noisy neighbors. He personally moved my luggage with great humility and professionalism, and only after the move was complete did I learn he was actually the manager. That level of service truly impressed me. All the staff were equally friendly and welcoming, making my stay an excellent experience. Highly recommended!"

"Nice suites for decent price, pool area does not have toilets. Sushi in the buffee was bit of a joke, otherwise good food. Steak house was really good. Will go again."

"Staff were really friendly and hotel overall was great. However, I will say that the service was appalling. Particularly the room service. Several times over several days, I had called up as not mugs were put in the room, radio didn’t work, no spoons/stirers were there (for example), but no one came. Two times I had to go down to the desk and ask personally and other times, I just forgot about it. This is just a few issues we had. My thoughts and opinions were shared with staff on checkout and an apology was given, but a good will gesture would have been nice, particularly since I had a list of bad experiences."

"We had a wonderful stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent—staff were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We had originally booked two separate rooms, but to our pleasant surprise, they upgraded us to a spacious family room with a connecting door. This thoughtful gesture made our stay much more convenient and enjoyable, especially as we were traveling with family. Another highlight was the breakfast, which was served at the nearby WB Hotel. It offered a fantastic variety of delicious options, beautifully presented and fresh. It was a great way to start each day. Overall, this was a top-notch experience. The location, service, and hospitality were all outstanding. We would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Yas Island."

"I live staying at the W in different countries/ cities. The breakfast is a hit every time. The rooms are spacious and I was able to get some much needed rest. Valet parking was great and the gentlemen working were AMAZING! I didn’t get a chance to attend the lounge at night for music and vibes but I’ll def come back again. The price for the room was relatively expensive compared to other W hotels I’ve stayed in."

"Ctrip's service level is really a mess. The address given was wrong, and it is still wrong now. At first, I took a taxi to a local villa area, but there was no such store. Later, I checked the address provided by the agoda platform and took a taxi again. It took a long time to find it. There was no front desk, just an administrator. It took me half a day to communicate with him before I got the room card. The room was quite new, but the apartment was newly opened and many equipment were not ready. The room was still good!"
