"We had a queen accessible room down stairs as it was the only room available. The bathroom really needs renovation. The shower was leaky, leaving the whole floor wet. The shower screen rail was rusty, as was the shelf in the bathroom. The tap for the toilet was green. There is ventilation in the bathroom. The room was very noisy from early in the morning. I have stayed here before in an upstairs room, which was much better. Frankly, this stay was very disappointing."
"We spent 4 nights at the Kingsford Brisbane Airport Hotel. I cannot speak highly enough of the service we received. Everyone at the hotel made us feel very welcome. They lent us a couple of Go cards which we could top up round the corner. The room was spacious and we did not feel cramped having a separate lounge area to the beds and bathroom. The hotel was quiet in spite of the busy road outside. Breakfast had an adequate selection of dishes which suits someone who might want eggs benedict or just a muffin for breakfast.
The hotel is a block along from the Ferry for a 50minute ride to Brisbane CBD also a bus stop if one wants to get there faster. There are a good selection of restaurants close by in two directions.
We felt very well looked after and all the staff looked after us very well. I would recommend this hotel especially if you are planning to stay for a few nights and want to be really comfortable."
"Had a short 2 nights stay. Booked 3 seperate rooms, mine was the family room comes with 2 single + 1 queen bed. The room was spacious. Parking is an ease they have underground n ground level parking. Convenient near airport and near petrol station to top up before returning car rental."
"Stayed here when I had an 18 hour layover. Only challenge for me was the contactless checkin when arriving after 6, mainly due to my having challenges with my “Australian e-sim” on my American based phone and the login code only being emailed the day of checkin when I was on a plane. The phone support was very prompt and helpful however, even though it was 10 pm. Great breakfast available for purchase as the pool side cafe. Pool looking inviting, but I didn’t have time to check it out. Place is ideally situated for longer term stays &/or families with a complete kitchen and bunk beds in the bedroom in addition the wires/king size bed."
"The room is very clean. The beds in the standard room are two single beds about 90 cm long. The hotel may be run by an old couple, who are very kind and friendly. I booked a stay there because I had a flight with two children the next day. The hostess showed me the room and told me that the bed might not be suitable for sleeping, but if I didn't mind that she allowed me to stay too and told me there were extra blankets and pillows so we could sleep on the carpet. We left the hotel at 3:30 in the morning so we just made do for the night. Dad sleeps on carpet, but it's very comfortable and there's nothing wrong with it. Thank you very much for the warm reception from the store. He was afraid that we didn’t have enough water and provided us with drinking water and even brought me chocolates. Thank you so much."
"Picked this hotel as it was close to the airport.
Had to have a room change as the lift has been out of action due to floods, and we couldn't do stairs to the 2nd floor. Great comfortable bed. Lighting in the room was disappointing, but lots of lights were still not very bright for reading. Huge room with a dining table as well as 2 lounge chairs for watching the TV, which was small for the size of the room.
The lady who checked us in helped us to our room by taking 2 bags for us. She was lovely"
"No staff at the front, ever. If you need assistance you are on your own trying to call them. Everyday there was someone else struggling to get in because the code didn’t work or the keypad was temperamental.
Check in wasn’t complicated but required time and effort following their links, if you are booking for someone else, like businesses do, you can’t get the entry code until you get the text messages and follow the check in process.
Balcony’s are useless and there is no sound insulation because of the balcony doors. The noise coming from the street to my room was the equivalent of just sleeping on the street.
Location was good for airport proximity and a Woolworths and some restaurants.
Room was clean, bathroom was cramped but did the job.
Lacked power outlets near the bed."
"The suite is large and comfortable, well-equipped and the environment is great. We arrived at around 7 o'clock in the morning, and the front desk enthusiastically allowed us to go to the changing room of the exquisite gym (semi-outdoor) to wash up.
We stayed in the direction where we can see the stadium, but unfortunately there are no photos of the room and balcony.
Nice hotel"
"Booked this hotel for the next morning flight, surrounded by residential areas, so quiet; about 15 minutes drive from Brisbane Airport. Ice water was delivered to the front desk at check-in. Room facilities are good. There is a smoking balcony in the hallway."
"The location is not easy to find. Parking can also have free parking. In the regional center, how busy people are, downstairs hotel supermarket"
