"it knows what it is, basic clean reasonable accommodation in a fantastic location. Not trying to be anything but it’s not.
Old building of course could be done up but of course then all prices would go up equivalently so again and come back to the original point it’s simple basic accommodation that is useful when you need a quick night accommodation.
Instructions were really good getting into the place late at night. The room was immaculately clean even if it was old. Overall would stay there if I needed accommodation for one night. I would suggest a touch expensive for what it is. "
"Very nice convenient, clean Hotel in a great suburb of Melbourne. Will definitely not like the world on fire in terms of differential from other hotels within this category, but it served its purpose very well. Would recommend staying here."
"The receptionist didn’t provide good service didn’t help while changing room but other than it was a good hotel and at a good location if you wanna move around in city"
"The place next to sea side actually good location, but the area is not the best one, it may get creepy in the night, showering facfilities need improvemnt, wifi good and working, I would not repeat this place unless I have to, but not bad place at all, good people and helpful people it is just for me"
"We had a delightful little stay , 3nights all up. The extra bed we asked for was there bathroom was a good size for three of us and totally quiet at night which, in a n8ghtspot, was pleasing. One stain on an item of bedding was noticed but didn't spoil anything"
"When you enter the hostel, the reception and entrance are the impressions that make the difference. The hostel is clean and the reception is bright and friendly.
I was surprised to see a bar on the first floor, and they said they were having a party.
I was there on Monday and Tuesday, and it was my birthday that day, and it was a crazy bingo party. Thanks to that, I had fun celebrating my birthday in a foreign country.
There were also new things because I was the only Asian.
The kitchen was clean and not crowded, which was nice.
On the other hand, the cooking space was relatively small.
The room was clean and it was comfortable and nice because I opened it on my mobile phone.
In other places, you have to swipe your card 3-4 times to enter.
It was a blessing to have a bathroom in the room. However, there was only one bathroom, so it was a game of wits.
The most important thing is that Kildavich is very close, and there is also Woolworths nearby, which is nice."
"Because the downtown hotel is too expensive, I booked a hotel 15 minutes drive from the city center. The room looks a bit old overall, but it is still clean. The wooden door of the toilet cannot be completely closed because of the dampness, and it is a bit inconvenient to have a hair dryer, others are acceptable."
"Adara St. Kilda was the perfect location for our needs, only about 300m from our function. As we are 2 friends, it's great that they offer two beds, although very firm mattresses. Room was small, but had all the required amenities and we were only there to basically sleep, shower and leave next morning. Handy to have supermarket next door for some real milk, snacks and brekky supplies if required.
Amanda was super helpful, she phoned to confirm details soon after booking, explained the late check-in if required and arranged it for us as we were possibly going to be late. On earlier arrival she recognised my name and recalled our conversation and personalised the check-in experience using our names and discussion from phone call - a very nice touch. I would book again if I needed a place to stay in this area."
"The shared bathroom and the room were simple and clean. The room was a little dusty but clean.
The heating was on and we could use it freely, which was nice.
Sometimes there were all kinds of smells (smoke outside and the delicious smell of cooking in the shared kitchen), but I was fine with it."
