Such a beautiful property! We stayed in the Villa...it was sparkling clean, spacious, the bed was incredibly comfortable (5 star hotel comfy), super quiet and well stocked. We also had a great time out on the large deck/patio using the BBQ and the scenery is gorgeous. 5min from Yarra Glen 15min to Coldstream Spent one afternoon by the pool, which we loved. Nothing I would change, can't recommend enough.
The location is great, within the vineyard and surrounded by wonderful scenery. very spacious and activities for children and family. peaceful and quiet as well. very helpful host. Will definitely come again.
We stayed in the luxury safari tent for (2) nights and had a wonderful time. Even in the midst of Winter the tent was very warm. With a nice, comfortable bed, great pillows, sizeable room and a view across the vineyards, it was fantastic. The I have to add, the wine tasting experience was fantastic. When we stayed last year the experience was awful, chaotic and unappealing. Balgownie have done a complete 180 here and now it’s a highlight! Good on you for recognising the deficiency, remedying it and delivering a great product. It was truly the highlight for us.

The studio was absolutely beautiful, and the views were stunning. The fresh bread and the well-stocked fridge were such a thoughtful touch.
The place was super cozy and comfortable. Met the lovely couple as well.
^_^, three consecutive nights in Australia to experience completely different local characteristics, following the car hotel, after a hundred years of house, this store is completely rustic style, authentic county style. Staying on Friday, downstairs is a restaurant and Bar, I feel that all the people around are gathered here. The pizza and fish and chips in the store are not bad, and the food around them must not catch up. The only problem is that it is very noisy and noisy. At night, there will be people playing guitar and singing in the restaurant under the floor. Everyone is dancing and invites us to dance together. In fact, if you want to integrate into the local life, you may wish to have a few drinks with them in the afternoon and have fun together. To be honest, I didn't feel too noisy, but I thought it was quite interesting. Hotel facilities can't be talked about, but if you definitely live in Yarra and don't want to stay in a winery or resort's upscale hotel, this may be the only option. I remember the name of the location, Yarra Glen.
With a stay at Karma Kinglake in Kinglake, you'll be in the mountains, just steps from Kinglake National Park and a 2-minute drive from Frank Thomson Reserve. This guesthouse is 1.6 mi (2.6 km) from Number Two Creek Reserve and 1.7 mi (2.7 km) from Kinglake East Bushland Reserve.
Take in the views from a garden and make use of amenities such as complimentary wireless internet access and gas grills.
Free self parking is available onsite.
Make yourself at home in one of the 6 air-conditioned rooms featuring kitchenettes. 40-inch Smart televisions with digital programming provide entertainment, while complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected. It's convenient to drive by car. Follow the white road, Maroon*** HWY, and turn left to Victoria RD. Then turn left at Melba HWY and you will be left. It's perfect to avoid the high-speed route for navigation. Hotel facilities feel old, especially the pool is a bit disappointing! The hotel provides a big bed room according to my request! The welcome letters are all in Chinese :) The hotel has a free 3 boxes of instant noodles (although we have not eaten) and three bottles of Italian mineral water! Surprisingly, the four small pieces of chocolate are delicious! All breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at the hotel, full western food! Breakfast is included in the room rate, lunch and dinner for two big ones for nearly $300! The nearest winery is just a 2 minute walk from the hotel. After the hotel reception has received the voucher, you can go there for free 5 kinds of wine! The tasting staff just happened to be a little girl from Shanghai. I was very kind. I bought 6 bottles of wine (can pay Alipay or WeChat). The next day I took a baby to go to the Wildlife Nature Reserve, which is 18 minutes drive from the hotel. !
This is a very nice resort. The interior is very clean and large. Bed is comfortable and toilet is good with jacuzzi. You will see kangaroos and cockatoos outside the cottage in the morning and evening. My kids enjoy the stay very much. However you need to either cook your own meals or drive out to eat. The drive is about 15 mins.
Love, love, love this boutique hotel. It's brand new, but the winery has been here a while. The hotel opened December 2023, I believe. We LOVED it. It was exactly what we were looking for in Yarra Valley. The accommodations were AMAZING. The hotel bathroom was the most luxurious we've ever experienced. We loved the wine tastings at the winery and the dinner at the hotel was one of the best of our entire trip. We'd come back in a heartbeat, and know this is a small business/family business, so it's worth supporting.
The Healesville club is a space to breathe. We find it’s the most serene of the RACV/Q places to stay. This visit delivered the usual great experience we’ve come to expect. We enjoyed walking around the grounds to take in the countryside. The kangaroos were exceptionally numerous for some reason compared to other visits. We spent a long time gazing at their grazing. As always, we found time for the pool, gym and big bouncy cushion. The club offers a decent choice of dining options with one restaurant offering finer dining and the other more casual. We chose casual this time, and had satisfying meals that also met our tricky dietary requirements. We look forward to our next visit!
