"Was a little worried about previous reviews, but we needed a budget family room at peak time. Was pleasantly surprised! Room was by the lake, clean & quiet. Wifi never worked tho!"

"Right at the pier! The best place to stay for whale watching. The hotel is a bit old and the rooms are small. There are no facilities around. It is convenient to take a boat. It is far from Brisbane."

"I stated at the Ramada for two nights when I was in Hervey Bay for a trip to Fraser Island. Overall, it was a pleasant enough stay. The hotel location is located near the esplanade, which is a quiet part of town about 8 km from the CBD, and has a few dining options within walking distance near the boat club. The hotel staff were all friendly upon arrival, the hotel room I was in was reasonably modern / well maintained (but your expectations should be set at ”regional Australia hotel quality” and not ”major city hotel quality”), and it has a on-site pool / restaurant (there was also a tiny 'gym' but it did not really have anything other than a cardio machine and some small weights). There was on-site parking, but the spaces were small and filled up very quickly when I was there (I didn't have trouble parking, but did find myself getting the final free space a couple of times). I had no real complaints about the place and would happily stay there again."

"We really enjoyed our stay here, the space was great for us and our two little ones. We checked in late and staff were very accommodating of this. The only negative things I can say are that the brown blanket on the queen bed was crusty and clearly hadn’t been washed, we opted to use the spare blanket in the cupboard which didn’t have any obvious marks on it there was also a decently sized dead bug in the bathroom just under the door which would’ve been quite easy for cleaners to remove if they had a keen eye. Aside from those minor things, we really liked our space and would happily recommend this accommodation to family or friends visiting Hervey Bay."

"Parking right outside the rooms and a very friendly and helpful receptionist. The fan and AC in the room worked well and weren't too noisy. Body wash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and shaving cream provided."
