Really disappointed with this accommodation. Paid a lot for a room that looks much bigger in the advertising but you can’t swing a cat in it. Soap dispenser fell off the wall as soon as I touched it and the table was missing a rubber stopper on one leg so it rocked badly and the manager couldn’t fix it. The photos show a swimming pool which is now a car park. When it’s 38 degrees a pool as show I. The advertising would have been great. Over priced and under delivered.
The hotel has a choice of tents and wooden cabins. When we went there, we were afraid that our mouths would be frozen when staying in a tent. So we chose a wooden cabin. In the morning, we would be awakened by the sounds of various animals outside the window, so we went to the camp early in the morning. Circle, I saw a lot of wild ducks, birds, etc. There is a white sandy beach nearby. Because it is winter, the sandy beach is very clean and beautiful. There is a dock behind the camp where you can go out to see the dolphins. You can watch the stars in the camp at night.
The hotel is not too big, the surrounding is very quiet, the facilities are OK overall, but some old, the hotel is very clean, the waiter attitude service is very good. The hotel breakfast is very satisfactory and the natural ecological environment is good. Overall, I think it is still very good and worth recommending.
Dear Bay & Bush Cottage Team, We would like to extend our gratitude for the exceptional customer service provided during our stay, particularly highlighting the efforts of Maria. It is evident that the quality of a venue is greatly influenced by the caliber of its customer service, and in this aspect, Bay & Bush Cottage excels. Maria's willingness to assist in every way possible have left a lasting impression on us. Her attention to detail and genuine care for guests' experiences are commendable. We will be back Karol & Javier
This was a perfect romantic weekend away, everything was very well thought of. It was a quiet & really relaxing atmosphere in the middle of the forest, not many people around and we were able to fully disconnect. We arrived around 2pm and there was afternoon tea ready for us to enjoy (cakes& tea) which was carefully curated. Dinner & breakfast was included and the food was in both occasion delicious and very high quality. They even packed us a lunch to take with us on our last day which was made with love once again. All staff were lovely too. Would highly recommend!!!
After a long rainy crappy drive from Canberra via the Nerriga Rd (really a goat track) we were looking forward to a nights stopover in Culburra before heading back to Sydney. The small motel is located in a quiet street not far from facilities in town. The room was pretty nice to tell the truth, bed was comfy and plenty of hot water in the shower, that's always a big plus for us and the remainder of the facilities were pretty good. Now the gripes, a little portable cook top would be a great bonus especially if staying for more than one night. A hairdryer would also be a bonus. We utilised our NSW stay vouchers with a balance of $70 outstanding, if we had been paying full rate of $170 I would be a tad disappointed as I don't believe it is good value, there is no real competition in the village except for AIR B&B’s and the caravan park, but they all had two night minimums. The adjoining room occupants turned up late at night and made an almighty racket, they eventually crashed out around midnight, but they then decided they would get up at 3am in the morning for who knows what and create enough noise to wake the dead, banging car doors talking at full volume with out a care in the world. So much for the quiet country life... As there we no onsite manger to call we had to put up with the crap for about two hours until they shut up. Sorry for the poor review but if you own it you cop it, there needs to be an avenue to shut this stuff down.
