We had a wonderful stay at Encore Mingara, service was excellent especially from Natalie, who tended to all our needs/enquiries. She was welcoming as were all the other team members that we came into contact with. They have great facilities, pool for adults & families, a gym, restaurants & entertainment, also not far from great shops & beaches.

I booked here at the last minute because I couldnāt get a room in one of the more āhigh endā hotels.
Yes itās old, yes itās quite run down. It was clean though and the location was great. It also has a really beautiful pool. I spent the previous night in one of those high end motels and hated it - the bed at El Lago was so much more comfortable and the AC was freezing cold (which I wanted).
Overall Iād say if you arenāt fussy on the looks itās worth staying there.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable with a relaxed atmosphere. Well equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. The balcony was accessible from all rooms and large enough to move around on without feeling cramped. Fantastic views over the ocean offering a sunrise to inspire your day. The secure parking was outstanding. Staff were friendly and accommodating and common areas of the property were consistently clean. Overall, unbeatable value in a prime location and well worth a return visit.
If you happen to be staying in a waterview apartment, consider requesting placement towards the southern end of the building for uninterrupted views.

Hotel facilities are a bit old. But the location is very good, it is the Lakeside Plaza and the amusement park, about 10 minutes walk from The Entrance. There are many restaurants around. There is a free car park in the 30-metre building next to the hotel entrance. There is also the Coles supermarket in the town, which is within walking distance.

CCatcatdogdogI drove north from Sydney to visit The entrance, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the lake mouth. At the same time, I won the grand prize for the third time in a month by booking a hotel on Ctrip. It was a super grand prize. As shown in the picture, the first three pictures are the interior of the room, and pictures 4-6 are the unbeatable sea view of the room balcony. It is a great experience to fall asleep in the roar of waves at such a close distance. The sister at the front desk is very friendly, the room is spotless, and the key is that there is no damp smell that is usually found in seaside hotels. The hotel has convenient parking. Picture 8 is the parking lot in the yard at the entrance. There is a discount if you go again within 12 months. The sister at the front desk is very friendly. The town as a whole has a good a**osphere for Asians. It is the best in this month's trip to Australia. I strongly recommend staying in The entrance and visiting this hotel.

CCathy_65The reception, housekeeping, restaurant and bar staff were all super friendly and very helpful with tips on where to park and what was good to eat and drink. The Urban King room we booked was very clean, roomy and modern with a luxurious King size bed, 50 inch flat screen TV, plantation shutters, a balcony, free standing bathtub and large shower that had excellent water pressure š.
This was a superb hotel with everything you need at your fingertips.

Cleanliness: a place that is very clean and tidy, except the electric kettle is dirty, we asked for replacement and they provide the new one for us.
Service: The service was very good and the staff were extremely polite
Facilities: The solution provided is good enough for our current needs.
Upon check-in, you will receive a temporary membership to the Diggers Club, allowing you to dine there with a discount.

I have to say this is the 2nd time we have stayed at the park, and we were very happy with the 1st time. 1st time we stayed in a cabin for 6 nights and then our caravan when the work was completed for a week.
The staff were fantastic.
This time we were very disappointed š.
The bed was very uncomfortable. Needs a topper to soften the caravan mattress and low height pillows which didn't help. The TV was not scanning to channels and had rabbit ears as the antenna clipped to the fire exhibitor.
As for staff we only had contact on arrival for the key, we left at 7 am, hence dropped the key in the box. The office lady was quite pleasant on arrival š.
I don't think we will stay there again, which is ashame as our 1st time was good. I feel for $607 for 3 night stay the standard of the cabin was very disappointing š.

GGuest UserPullman has no outdoor pool which was a shock. No great views from rooms. But villas are very spacious, clean however outdoors are quite dirty to use. Great beds, furniture and specially well ventilated. Did not like that it's along with residential buildings. Didn't have any 5 star feeling. And if u r one of the unlucky person where none of the phones in room work then it's pretty annoying.
But it's good for a weekend getaway specially for the amazing stuff and the tasty food at the restaurant.
Well the Magenta beach is a rough walk through the sands but other beaches are are short drives from the location.
Oh yes there aren't any food delivery available by uber eats or doordash.
Overall it's a satisfying stay for max two nights.

GGuest UserVery happy with our booking and subsequent stay we had at the Bucaneer Motel at Long Jetty. Friendly service upon check in and the room was perfect. It came with all we needed for our short stay minus the unnecessary razzle dazzle. It was clean , tidy and cozy. Location was great too , close to a big park and the pelicans. š

GGalia EdwardsYou get what you pay, the room was ok, we couldnāt keep our toiletries in the bathroom as the cupboard was in really bad shape, rust, doors swelling from the cracks and water damage. Someone in the next room was smoking outside their room yet the huge gap under the door allowed the smoke to come in!! Location was great though and handy it had a microwave.
