J’ai eu une expérience hier soir plutôt désastreuse à mon goût ! Faisant parti des invités du mariage de mes parents qui était célèbre juste à côté nous avions passé la nuit ici. Au matin, la dame qui s’occupe de recevoir les clients a été désagréable et m’a agresse à l’instant où je suis rentrée pour régler la chambre car hier soir nous avions dû les appelé en urgences car nous n’étions malheureusement pas au courant qu’il fallait check in avant et nous pensions que les mariés l’avaient fait pour nous. Rien de trop grave, solution trouve. J’arrive pour check out et cette dame m’a littéralement agresse en disant que des chambres n’étaient pas payes et que je devais tout régler immédiatement. J’entends son mécontentement, cependant, la manière de parler aux gens n’y était pas du tout ! J’ai donc régler pour apaiser la situation et cette femme a continuer à déblatérer et à nous agresse verbalement tout le long. J’ai suggéré que le café n’était pas vraiment bien indiqué car nous n’en avions pas elle m’a dit qu’il fallait regarder et ouvrir les yeux que c’était dans une boîte, je n’ai trouvé que du th. Elle a également envoyé un autre invité boulet car il voulait prendre un petit dej, elle a fait payé également le café. Le marié voulait juste se changer avant la reception dans les toilettes, elle l’a agresse et envoyé se faire voir !! En disant que personne faisait ça ici c’était n’importe quoi Notre réception était magnifique mais si vous souhaitez bien dormir et avoir un service digne de ce nom : PASSEZ VOTRE CHEMIN, l’amabilité et la gentillesse ne sont pas des qualités que les gérants prônent malgré qu’ils soient dans le commerce. Je le redis : PASSEZ VOTRE CHEMIN !

Coming from Singapore for 5 days to visit my family and friends, I stayed at this hotel (even I was invited to sleep at my brothers or my mom homes), for the comfort ans it’s proximity to the center and all facilities. The hotel is very well situated, very clean, nicely decorated with pictures, old sewing machines and fabrics machines as the hotel is a conversion of an old fabrics factory. The bedroom was big, very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast has a large variety of delicious dishes, don’t miss the Belgian gaufres (waffles) and the abbey cheese. The hotel staff is very kind and professional. There is a car park and a place to park 1 or 2 tourists buses. There was no shampoo in the bathroom, but there are 4 hairdressers in the area that will make your shampoo and blow dry for 20 €. Just next to the hotel, enjoy a drink at one of the terrasses on the Grand-Place, eat a cake or a dessert at Pierre-Alain ( one of the best in the world) , eat Belgian specialities at La Cloche (rue de Tournai) , try the famous real French fries with mayonnaise and fricandelle (street food on the Grand-place) and buy local food on the market every Tuesday mornings.

We plan a weekend each year in combination with a brewery visit. We found this B&B near Omer brewery. The location with faces is nice, you can be amusing at the pool (even under the shadow of the tree) until the sun falls. The room is beautiful and elegant, beautiful Scandinavian style. It is a added value that each room has a private place to sit outside and that there are locks to keep the sun and heat outside. The biggest surprise was breakfast: we felt very bored with a choice of fresh tea, self-made cookies and bread, egg to choice, beautiful selection charcuterie /kaas, fruit and I believe that the yoghurt was also fresh made, The breakfast room itself is a nice place to be awkward, in a notch, we came here to rest and after two nights we felt reborn.

Very friendly guest, clean room, good parking and good breakfast.

I was given a junior suite which is more like a large room but balcony was an added bonus for fresh air. Located near the Expo it is out of town but very convenient for road transport. Property is very clean with grat coffee at any time. Run by Vincent is always willing to help. Also recently have preordered mean brought in. Breakfast is standard fare but more than adequate. Quiet but clean, Internet very good.

I stayed in this hotel with 4 friends for a spa weekend. The hotel is very nice updated and we had a great time there. Staff is super friendly, they help you with everything. Very big. The rooms were nice, very confortable beds. We will stay here again!
