"I was very happy we decided to stay at Delfins Beach Resort. We stayed in one of the two-bedroom apartments. The main pool is very nice, with direct access to the bar. We typically skipped the buffet and got breakfast at Boertiek, which offered decent coffee, smoothies, yogurt parfaits, and pastries. For lunch or a casual dinner, the Beach Brasserie was excellent—I especially enjoyed the goat stew. And for a more formal dinner (by island standards), the Brass Boer was truly excellent—arguably the best restaurant on Bonaire—and we ate at many excellent restaurants during our weeklong visit."

"The hotel is currently under renovation; the newer part is very nice, while the older part needs some maintenance. The service is generally very good. The cuisine is very well-prepared, and despite being a buffet, it's always well-stocked, well-organized, and offers some sophisticated dishes. The owners are always present, and it shows!"

Some resorts provide air conditioning at extra cost. Some air condition only the bedrooms. Our quiet air conditioning system cools the entire condo. But, you might not even need it. It’s amazingly comfortable with only fresh breezes. Because of our orientation and height above the sea, we have consistent Trade Winds for natural cooling. They flow into the condo through the window and full size screen door and out the 9-foot wide sliding glass doors across the screened porch. Ceiling fans on the porch, over the bed & couch and in the bath add to your comfort.

PLEASE NOTE: The Bonaire marine park, STINAPA, has changed its Nature Park Pass system (since we left the island in March 2019!). Now, instead of purchasing the dive pass or snorkel pass from a dive shop, you must purchase it online.
There are no more plastic discs to attach to your mask or BCD. Instead, you get a paper permit that you must keep with you when you head to the water.
You should purchase the Nature Pass (snorkeling or diving) permit before you leave home, print a couple of copies and keep one copy at the condo. (It is my understanding that the dive shops are not printing the permits for our guests so you must bring your permit with you.) PLEASE NOTE: The Bonaire marine park, STINAPA, has changed its Nature Park Pass system (since we left the island in March 2019!). Now, instead of purchasing the dive pass or snorkel pass from a dive shop, you must purchase it online.
There are no more plastic discs to attach to your mask or BCD. Instead, you get a paper permit that you must keep with you when you head to the water.
You should purchase the Nature Pass (snorkeling or diving) permit before you leave home, print a couple of copies and keep one copy at the condo. (It is my understanding that the dive shops are not printing the permits for our guests so you must bring your permit with you.) That way, if the copy you take with you gets damaged or destroyed, you will have a spare. Here is the link for purchasing a Nature Pass.
