The hotel room itself was fine, it was average in size and seemed clean. The bathroom was tiny and you could barely open the door fully as the door hit the toilet. Lots of restaurants close by. The pool is a joke. During our 2 night stay it was closed both days as they said the chemicals were off. I had called the hotel prior to our stay to ask if the pool was open since I had read many reviews stating it was closed. I was assured by the person that I spoke with that the pool was open and would be for our stay. The first day they had signs on the door and at the front desk saying it was closed. The second we went down to the pool around 8:30 PM and the kids were in for less than 5 minutes when the maintenance guy came and said they had to get out of the pool as he was closing it cause he couldn't see the dots on the floor. We could clearly see the dots he was referring to. The person I spoke with at the front desk the first day was less than helpful and I would go as far as saying she was rude. If you are looking for a hotel with the ability to swim you'll definitely want to pick another hotel as this one never seems to be open.
I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at Super 8 as I thought of it as an economical hotel with less fuss. I was pleased with my rooms cleanliness & decor. My family stopped in & they thought it was a nice room as well. I was there for only one night as we were there to help family but considering when your in a pinch & you need a nice clean room Super 8 will satisfy your needs.
Located on a hill in the town. Access is not bad as it is right from the highway. There was also a large supermarket nearby and it was convenient. The room was 1 people so I felt quite large. I am not dissatisfied because the inside was clean. I think it is a recommended hotel when coming to Barry.

Thoroughly unimpressed. They never cleaned our room and we were there for 3 nights. Room was ok. Pool was meh and very cold gym very small, not many machines. Small lobby area, not much sitting area for groups. Pillows were garbage lumpy. We asked to check out early since one of us was sick and we weren’t happy and they said no we missed the checkout deadline so they have to charge the whole third night.
There is free parking, there is a gas station across the road, and a big supermarket after the gas station. There are not many varieties early, you can, you can make waffles and small cakes yourself.
Hotel concierge refused to take my debit Visa card as payment! He insisted that I pay with my credit card. I believe they cannot refuse this form of payment by Ontario law. He stil had my credit card on file. Anyway he kept insisting that only credit card will be accepted and my friend had to step in and pay for the one night stay. This will be the last time I will stay at a choice comfort inn. I gave it 2 stars because I’m feeling generous. Also he didn’t recognize government rate or union hotel partnerships they have with choice hotels. Maybe your training new employees is very behind and it’s time to revamp or be left behind by the corporate world of business stays.
Very quiet, but the location is a bit biased, but driving in this place, so okay. The room is not big. Breakfast included and the quality of the breakfast is affordable, the waiter is very friendly
4 adults stayed in 1 room. Easy check-in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff were very friendly and rooms were very clean. It was nice to get coffee or tea at any time. The included breakfast had lots of variety. Close to malls and restaurants. Lots of parking.
