Find the Cheap Minusio Hotels

Hotel Remorino is a small, intimate hotel in an excellent location not far from the lake and lessthan 500 m from the train station. We drove and found adequate parking just in front of the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and spotless. Housekeeping was exceptional and eager to help with blankets, towels , etc. the furnishings are not luxe but fitting for the style and cost of the hotel. Bathroom was large and modern. Special feature was the balcony. We were on the 3rd floor and enjoyed an obstructed but nice view of the lake. Even more impressive was the garden view. There are tables and chairs set in the garden which had lots of lawn, impressive shrubs and many date palms. There were few plants blooming in late August but we had the impression that May and June were another story. The pool is large and like everything else spotless. There is ample seating in poolside lounge chairs with umbrellas. They serve a rather full breakfast and again everything was tasty and much was sourced locally. In the afternoon you can order lunch, snacks, sweets, and cocktails. The quality and preparation was superb. Finally, the service and staff are also excellent,greeting us every time with a Buon giorno or buena sera. I plan on coming again next year.

Wir haben uns auf ein gutes Hotel an schöner Lage gefreut und auf das feine, reichhaltige Frühstück. Die Lage ist wirklich wunderschön. Das Hotel von 1913 ist wohl seither nicht mehr renoviert worden. Vorallem im Bad hat es überall Schimmel und Kalkflecken. Die Türrahmen sind abgeblättert, die Lichtschalter funktionieren bis auf zwei nicht. Der Kühlschrank hat Schimmelflecken. Am Boden hatte es noch Schmutz vom Vor(vor)gänger. Im Vorraum hatte es tote Hornissen von mehreren Tagen - jeden Tag etwa zwei mehr. Zum Frühstück: das gebotene Frühstück entsprach leider nicht den Fotos auf der Homepage. Es hatte nur ziemlich harte Aufbackbrötchen und Gipfeli sowie gefüllte Croissants. Die Früchteauswahl fehlte ganz. Die Konfitüre etc. kamen von Italien. Der Besitzer war (der Autonummer nach) auch aus Italien. Das Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis stimmte überhaupt nicht. Und ist es wirklich ein 4**** Hotel? Dies jedenfalls stand auf einem zerfallenen Plakat in einem Schaukasten. Fazit: das war das erste und letzte Mal, dass wir dort gebucht haben.

I had a big room with a view of the lake. Super comfortable bed. Good quiet air-conditioning. Lights, curtains all magically controlled from a dashboard near your pillow. The digital check-in needn't scare you as the friendly owner is present to help. It's five minutes' walk from a family beach on the lake, and there's plenty of very cheap parking nearby. A five-minute drive from Locarno and its restaurants, this is the ideal studio-hotel for total peace and quiet while you visit the sights of Ticino. No breakfast or official reception, but the owner is always around and is full of good advice about what to see. Free drinks in the fridge. A perfect holiday base.

Superbe personnel, serviable et d’une grande gentillesse. Notre séjour étais vraiment top. Super chambre, très propre et moderne. L’hôtel est calme et l’ambiance y est paisible. Le déjeuné a volonté au top ! Pas très loin du centre et parking à l’hôtel ! Je recommande !!

This brand-new hotel on the lake just around the corner from Locarno in Muralto turned out to be a great choice for our stay in Ticino. Extremely comfortable modern rooms with great bathrooms and lake view, a very nice bar on the terrace outside with lots of comfy chairs and sofas, and extremely helpful staff. It also has a fully equipped bike room with tools, workstand, laundry and washing station, as well as city bikes available for clients' use.

The hotel was excellent for our overnight stop in Locarno although we would have happily stayed longer. Travelling by train, the hotel is conveniently close to train station (but not so that you get bothered by any noise). The rooms are very modern, clean, well equipped, quiet and with comfortable beds. The staff are really friendly, very welcoming and helpful and the breakfast is ideal. Really enjoyed the fabulous stained glass windows and it made using the stairs (although there is a lift!) a real pleasure too.
