"Walking from the train station to the hotel takes about 15 minutes, especially when you're hauling luggage. Crucially, the path isn't flat; it's a hilly road with slopes, so make sure to allow plenty of time. Public transport is very infrequent, so don't rely on it.
Check-in at the front desk is before 8 PM. A Trip.com customer service representative thoughtfully called around 7 PM that evening to remind me, which was a nice touch.
The breakfast spread was quite varied, and the restaurant, located at the highest point, offered beautiful views.
Our triple room was on the ground floor. As there's no air conditioning, we had to keep the door open for ventilation, so do watch out for mosquitoes and other insects."
"I booked for two nights. On the first night, I was given the wrong room type, and the hotel was fully booked. They offered me breakfast as compensation, which was all they could do. The first night, my room was facing the street, so there was some noise. There was also a constant dripping or pipe sound from the bathroom, which was quite disruptive; my son didn't fall asleep until midnight.
The second night, I moved to room 31, which was excellent – quiet, a bit more spacious, and had a small balcony.
Even though there was a mix-up with the room and I didn't sleep well the first night, the staff were incredibly nice. They offered a welcome drink upon arrival and even gave me two bottles of water when I left.
The hotel is about a 7-minute walk from the train station, so it wasn't too much trouble with luggage. The rooms have disposable slippers, and there are disposable cups at the bar near the entrance. The panoramic rooms are comfortable, and those on the 3rd floor are even better. The other suite I booked on the 2nd floor was also very good."
"The room is big, but the corridor has a smell, which is standard for domestic B&Bs, but the restaurant is beautiful, the scenery is so beautiful, facing the sea, it feels like spring flowers are blooming, a good choice"
"The terrace view of the lake view room is great! You can directly see Spitz Castle and Lake Tuen. It is a pleasure to sit on the road and watch the scenery. There is also a group of black sheep downstairs that is very cute.
Check-in needs to be confirmed in the email, you can directly unlock the mobile phone, this is very convenient, the health is very good, the whole house is very clean, two people live very generous, and the dishwasher is great
Very close to Spitz Railway Station, there is a ramp to push the box directly, there is a coop and a pharmacy drugstore in a few minutes walk nearby, the overall is very convenient ~"
"The room is not very big but very clean. The TV signal and internet are a bit bad, and the soundproofing is average. However, the hotel facilities are very good. The breakfast area has a beautiful view. You can go to the swimming pool and outdoor sauna during the day. There is free afternoon tea in the afternoon. It is also close to the pier."
"This was my second hotel on my trip to Switzerland. Spiez was my favorite town of the entire trip, and it felt like a perfect place for a few days of pure relaxation. The hotel is a bit far from the train station, about a ten-minute walk. Google's walking directions involve climbing stairs and a steep incline, but if you're a wheelchair user, you can use the driving directions, which are much smoother. I booked a bay view room with two terraces: one in the living room and one in the bedroom. The view from the living room was particularly stunning! The room was also very large and spacious, with air conditioning! The only problem was that it didn't have a bathtub. Upon check-out the next day, they even gave me water and handmade jam."
"The overall environment is very beautiful, and the hotel will give you a bus card for surrounding areas.
The sauna and massage pool are very comfortable. You must enjoy them when you stay. They can definitely eliminate the fatigue of the day. The breakfast area is beautiful!
It's a pity that we were assigned to a hotel room upstairs in a nearby building. It was located in a very remote part of the hotel. There was no elevator and we had to carry our luggage ourselves. Not arranged on the main floor, the experience is a bit worse."
"Hotel location is excellent, the internal facilities are still very old and simple, do not mind can be fixed.
The restaurant is not bad, the fish is very fresh.
The service staff I met, there were very serious Swiss grandfathers, there were also very enthusiastic young people, and the restaurant waiters were also very typical Swiss style.
In addition, if a lot of luggage is out of the station, you can take the bus."
"Very nice and well-kept small apartment on the top floor. Very suitable for 2 people, above that it quickly becomes cramped. We felt very comfortable during our stay and would come back anytime."
