"The hotel is located across from a parking lot on the pedestrian street, offering convenient parking (guests can pick up parking vouchers at the front desk upon departure). It's also a short walk from the ancient town center. The hotel is newly renovated, with a spacious lobby area featuring a reception, breakfast room, tea room, and Hanfu clothing rentals. The courtyard is quite beautiful, the rooms are large, and the hallways are wide. There are tables and chairs outside the rooms, perfect for reading, drinking tea, smoking, or taking in the courtyard views. It's quite a pleasant space. The room facilities are decent for an ancient town, and the overall impression is quite good. However, the quality and standard of service leave room for improvement. The housekeeping staff, in particular, felt somewhat lackluster. For example, the bed wasn't made (we briefly made it when we left, but it was still the same when we returned). The used towels and bath towels were rearranged but not replaced (ours were left draped over the bathtub, wet and messy. Even though they weren't placed in the bamboo basket (because the basket was in a corner of the bathtub, making it difficult to see, as shown in the photo below), common sense suggests they should have been replaced). There was very little toilet paper left, and no new rolls were provided. The drinking water (the hotel uses bottled water) wasn't replenished, and other issues like these made the work feel shoddy and unprofessional. For a two-night stay over the National Day holiday, which cost nearly 500 yuan per day, basic service should have been provided. This isn't a negative review, but I believe everyone appreciates objective reviews, so I felt it was necessary to write this. This doesn't change my preference for the hotel over other options, so I offer constructive feedback and suggestions in the hope that improvements will be made. I'm sure I'll choose this hotel again next time."

"My trip to Jiezi Ancient Town this time was made extra special by my stay at the Joy Hotel – it truly left a fantastic impression on me! The hotel's location is superb, right at No. 29 Bojiang Street in the heart of the ancient town, bordering the Weijiang River. It's incredibly convenient for exploring all parts of the old town or heading out to find delicious food. Upon entering, I was immediately drawn to the Nordic minimalist decor – serene yet elegant. The lobby features a piano and a writing desk, while the hallways are adorned with calligraphy and paintings. There are also numerous book nooks, creating a strong sense of literary charm. The common areas are well-equipped, with outdoor tea tables and a treehouse. The second-floor terrace was perfect for enjoying drinks and conversation with friends in the evening; the atmosphere was absolutely amazing. My room experience was also excellent. The central air conditioning provides year-round temperature control, and the underfloor heating ensures warmth even in winter. The custom bedding was soft and comfortable, making me feel right at home. The upgraded sanitary ware also provided peace of mind. The room names, inspired by the Classic of Poetry and the Songs of Chu, added a touch of cultural elegance. For leisure and entertainment, the front courtyard houses a tranquil tea room, while the backyard exudes an artistic vibe, perfect for taking photos or simply relaxing. Guests can also participate in experiential classes like calligraphy and painting, or try sutra copying, indigo dyeing, and pottery making in the sunny courtyard, fully embracing a slower pace of life. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive, making both check-in and check-out swift and seamless. The next time I visit Jiezi Ancient Town, I will definitely choose this hotel again!"

"This hotel is a top-rated choice in Chongzhou city center. The facilities are all very new, and the decor is simple, elegant, and modern. The bedding is comfortable, and the quiet environment is perfect for sleeping. It's right in Chongzhou city, very close to Yanhua Pond, which we could walk to. Nearby Xiaodong Street offers dining options, but it tends to be crowded. The Rou Dou Hua (meat tofu pudding) place diagonally opposite the hotel is quite good value for money, and there are also some snacks available. The breakfast is quite rich, with freshly made noodles, like pickled cabbage and shredded pork noodles, as well as side dishes, steamed items, bread, tarts, coffee, vegetables, and fruits, all of which were excellent. The front desk staff were warm, generous, and answered all our questions, even recommending an affordable and tasty Chinese restaurant. Great!"
