"Location: Close to the train station Cleanliness: All clean. Service: Very friendly, I asked about nearby food and they gave me recommendations (explaining which options are both good and bad). Facilities: Water, drinks and snacks were very helpful. Bikes to borrow on a first-come-first-served basis. There were 4 available during my stay. Luggage storage was free and useful. I ended up storing 3 items both before check-in and after check-out. Overall was surpsised by big size of room, shower was quite large."

"Simple, clean, and in a great location. The smart check-in feature is super convenient. No need to worry about late check-ins. And your phone acts as your key. Super convenient. Even though it's a smart check-in feature, the B&B staff were very proactive in leaving messages and contacting us. Highly recommended. One minor annoyance: I live on the street side. I'm not sure if the floor-to-ceiling windows are the kind that prevent you from seeing inside. The curtains didn't seem to be installed properly and wouldn't close tightly. I suggest improving this."

"There are free instant noodles and drinks on the first floor of the hotel, as well as movies to watch, which is very considerate. The only small flaw is that the double bed room is made up of two mattresses, and there is a slight height difference."

"The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming! Our room's floor-to-ceiling windows offered occasional glimpses of planes, which absolutely delighted the children. The location is fantastic, very close to Dongdamen Night Market and Yuli Stinky Tofu. Plus, the owner gave us some wonderful local food recommendations!"

"The location is super convenient and accessible. Checkin and checkout were super easy and the room was cheap for a private room - it's considerably larger than it looks on the pictures! It's clean but not pristine and the mattress is comfty. I would have appreciated a bedframe but for that price and for two nights it was enough. Can definitely recommend."

"The location is excellent, the service is superb, and the staff are very helpful in introducing attractions. Bicycles are provided for guests, making it convenient for short trips, and the lobby bar is also great."

"You can walk to the hotel from Xincheng station in about 20 minutes. There is a shuttle that takes you from the hotel to either Xincheng or Hualien station for free, which I appreciate. The immediate area around the hotel and from Xincheng station is quite remote and there are basically no stores or restaurants open. Thus you will probably have to eat all meals at the hotel restaurant. The restaurant itself is pretty good though and the pricing is reasonable, all things considered. The main benefit of the hotel is the hotel pool. Personally i have a bit of mixed feelings about the pool because the view of the ocean and the beach is partially blocked by some trees, however, overall it is indeed a nice view especially of the mountains in the back. You can also walk to the beach in a few minutes, which is convenient. Service is good. Overall if you are planning to check out Hualien but don't plan to go to Taroko gorge, I think this is a decent option."

"The facilities were clean and well-kept, and the staff were friendly and attentive. It was great to have a bathtub for soaking. The central location made shopping very convenient, and Dongdamen Night Market was only a short walk away."

"Very good experience. Convenience location. Just 3 mins walking to train station. Free snack and coffee at hotel lobby. Highly recommended. We will love to come back and stay here when we travel to hua lien again. Lots of foods options nearby. Friendly receptionist and also hotel provides day tour option too."
