"The location is super convenient and accessible. Checkin and checkout were super easy and the room was cheap for a private room - it's considerably larger than it looks on the pictures! It's clean but not pristine and the mattress is comfty. I would have appreciated a bedframe but for that price and for two nights it was enough. Can definitely recommend."

"one of the best and price worth hotels I have stayed in Taiwan. We had a family room and it was spacious. huge toilet. It was clean and comfortable! Will definitely be back. It is good for business traveller too. The breakfast was surprisingly quite good! Free parking and coin laundry to use. The facility is well maintained! The lobby was welcoming, clean and spacious with marbled flooring!! Staff was extremely friendly because I left my items in the fridge and they took the initiative to email me to inform!"

"Everything was excellent. Finding the location from Hualien Train Station required a bit of effort, as the property was situated slightly behind other buildings; however, at one point, the sign was visible from a distance. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was outstanding. The only negatives were that, with the property being old, only two-pronged electric outlets were available, with 3-prong to 2-prong converters available at the front desk, and that the fixed shower head was not well aimed. The mobile shower head had a mount that was too low. Considering all the factors, I would highly recommend the property to anyone looking to stay in the area."

"Had a great stay at Parkview Hotel & Resort Hualien. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the facilities like the pool and gardens made it really relaxing. Convenient location yet quiet and peaceful — perfect for a getaway. Would stay again!"

"Location: Close to the train station Cleanliness: All clean. Service: Very friendly, I asked about nearby food and they gave me recommendations (explaining which options are both good and bad). Facilities: Water, drinks and snacks were very helpful. Bikes to borrow on a first-come-first-served basis. There were 4 available during my stay. Luggage storage was free and useful. I ended up storing 3 items both before check-in and after check-out. Overall was surpsised by big size of room, shower was quite large."

"The room is on the first floor, and you can park your motorcycle at the door, which is very convenient. You can check in by yourself with a password. You need to change the indoor mop at the door to enter. The bathroom is large and the air conditioning is cool."

"Very positive experience. Place is quite nice if you look for a decent Hostel in Hualien (even though it might look a little bit run down from the outside). Nice roof top terrace for a night cup and 24h free flow coffee/tea is a plus. Communication with the front desk staff varies a lot, depending on the individual English language skills of the staff on duty, but has never been a real issue. Moreover, we‘ve been quite surprised having a German speaking guy there the day we‘ve checked in."

"The room was absolutely gorgeous! The only minor inconvenience was parking. Because it's located next to an elementary school, parking spots only become readily available late at night, typically after 11 PM. Nevertheless, I highly recommend it 👍👍 – definitely worth a stay!"

"Overall a good experience (except one thing - see in the bottom). The location is somewhat central and on the walking promenade, but not very close to the railway station or the waterfront. About 25-35 min walk to the railway station but still okay. About 15 min to the waterfront. Food options: there are a couple of local restaurants right near across from the promenade, including a noodle shop, a tempura donburi and a fried seafood place - all along the promenade. There's also a PX Mart not too far away, about 5 min walk. The rooms are spacious and clean, very new renovation (as of 2025, seems like 2023-2024), no fridge in the room (on the first floor only), but there's a kettle. The bed was somewhat stiff but okay. Overall felt like great value for the location and the quality, and especially the room size. The only drawback - Easy to fix - was the towels. There was no proper size bathroom towels on my stay in May 2025. The small towels are rather insuficcient for showering."
