因為臨時決定出行，古鎮裏的房所剩無幾，才定了這家建在農田裡的民宿，離沙溪古鎮十幾分鍾車程（不遠，但是村路窄，得慢慢開）民宿老闆是傈僳族，院子自己設計，自己蓋。用料講究，綠植和軟裝都非常有品。她説，自己就是村裡人，這裏無論紅白喜事，不用刻意通知，知道消息的都會來幫忙。這樣的情誼她在別處都沒有體會到過，所以在外漂泊了多年，又回到了出生地養老。民宿是新開的，背靠山坡，遠望農田，地裏種着煙葉、地參、向日葵、玉米，綠油油，生機勃勃的景象，有理想的田園氛圍。因為新店開張做活動，除了房價打折，還提供早晚餐。雖然是做活動才提供的晚餐，卻一點也不含糊。考慮到葷素搭配，還頗有心思地提供本地時鮮。第一晚的晚餐在排骨湯的基礎上還配了杜鵑花湯和菌子。還提醒説，杜鵑花湯大理也有，但是做不來我們這種味道（後來驗證，果然非常好喝）豬肉是打聽到村裡誰家養的吃玉米的豬，要宰殺了，趕早去買來的，新鮮。菌子也是村裡熟識而有經驗的老鄉採的，安全。老闆夫婦倆，像是對待親戚鄰里，真誠又熱情。看到我們在打牌，就沏了茶送過來。看到朋友抱着娃下車，趕緊把娃接過來。出門接送都安排得妥妥當當。雖然來過沙溪很多回，這次趕在旺季，本就降低期望值，卻因超棒的住宿體驗，加分了。
