"The hotel environment is really good. This time, I brought my child along, and the room was very clean. The breakfast, afternoon tea, and sweet soup provided all tasted great. You can see the entire Miao Village scenery, and it's very close to several popular photo spots. The staff also provided excellent service, helping with luggage and showing us the way. It was a really great experience!"

"During our 9-day, 8-night trip to Guizhou, we stayed in several hotels and B&Bs, and this one was the best. I rarely review B&Bs, but I highly recommend it. My husband and I, along with our children, booked the Lancun Guanju Suite. Both bedrooms had en-suite bathrooms, a balcony with a view, and an outdoor bathtub. The view was stunning, the soundproofing was excellent, and the entire room was equipped with smart technology. The hotel is very close to the No. 1 Wind and Rain Bridge, and is also close by: Pigpen Coffee, Huakai Banxia, the Cowshed Campground, and the Murakami Art Museum. Although there was a bit of climbing involved, the service was excellent, especially our housekeeper, Xiao Qin. He was attentive and thoughtful. He proactively added us on WeChat in advance and helped us with our luggage. When we arrived, it was pouring rain, but Xiao Qin helped carry our 26-inch suitcase and offered us his umbrella, carrying the weight himself. We were very touched. Upon arrival, he provided us with a guidebook. The complimentary afternoon tea and nighttime sweet drink were both excellent, and our daughter loved them. We needed to go out in the rain but forgot our Crocs, so Xiao Qin gave us a new pair of slippers, which was a real relief. I stayed in the Miao Village for two nights. I was disappointed that I didn't get a reservation at Lancun Village on the first day. I'll definitely stay there again next time and have already recommended it to two friends. "The hotel located just next to the observatory deck. Change 2 shuttle bus that is not far from the entrance. The hotel is so nice and the staying experience was superb. We were been upgraded to a balcony room. The room is clean and cozy, served with a plate of fresh fruits, drinks and juice. Package includes a free batik handmade experience that is interesting, we like our masterpiece . They provided a free Miao costume to try on and we went out to take pictures at the observatory deck, that saved the cost of renting it at other shop. Free cocktail at their Rebirth Bar. We ordered other Cocktail there and that’s awesome. Drinks we ordered is so nice ! Overall the staying experience is very highly recommended."

"We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. When we checked in they upgraded our room to a business suite. This was so unexpected and we loved it! It was so comfortable and provide the perfect amount of space so when one needed to work in the evening, the other person wasn’t disturbed. The en-suite bathroom was fantastic - the dual vanity was perfect for both of us to get ready at the same time. Also, it had a massive bathtub and separate shower- great for those who might want to unwind after a long day. The bed was very comfortable and it had great sound proofing. The only drawback was that the AC didn’t work well in the suite- even though we tried to lower the temperature, we weren’t able to bring it lower than 25 degrees. As it is summer, being able to lower the AC would have been helpful as it did get a little stuffy in the room at night. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. From recommendations on how to visit several of the villages we were interested in going to, to recommendations for specific Guizhou dishes to try at the night market, they were so kind and pleasant. The day we checked out it was pouring. The staff were kind enough to lend us umbrellas so we could go for a short walk to get coffee before our trip to the train station. The facilities were great and well maintained. A good really gym with lots of equipment / treadmills/ weights etc so you could work out. It closes at 11pm (as does the laundry). They only have 2 washer/ dryer combinations so while laundry is free to do, it could take a while as the shortest wash cycle was approximately 30 min, and then you still had to factor in dry time (as it’s the same machine). The hotel is located in the center area so there are lots of shops, and huge underground mall, night market, parks, cafe and bakery all within walking distance. As it’s centrally located, it’s very easy for didi to find/ schedule pick up. We loved our time in Kaili and our stay at this hotel. We will definitely return for a second visit!"

"First and foremost, the location is fantastic. From your room's balcony, you can freely enjoy the stunning night view of the Miao Village, completely avoiding the need to jostle with crowds at the main observation decks. The hotel is conveniently situated between the bustling Wind-Rain Bridges No. 4 and 5, making it very easy to find. Dining options are also readily available. Just a short walk across one of the Wind-Rain Bridges brings you to Silver Necklace Square, and you can even watch the performances happening there right from your room. If you ever get tired of your room, the hotel boasts its own private viewing platform, perfect for taking photos. It's thoughtfully decorated with an 'Instagrammable' rooftop, complete with a bed and a swing – a true paradise for photography enthusiasts. Complimentary fresh fruit and afternoon tea are delivered daily. Enjoying these treats while gazing at the blue sky and white clouds is simply delightful and incredibly relaxing."

"The girl who helped us was absolutely wonderful! The one with the cute, round face and Birkenstocks! Oh my goodness, they came all the way to pick us up and drop us off! I even left my drone on the sofa, and they immediately arranged to mail it back to me. And they kept reminding us about the afternoon tea and breakfast options, haha, so thoughtful! As for the environment, words don't do it justice – just check out the pictures! A quick tip for everyone: try to pack light! If you're driving, prepare everything you need beforehand (just bring essentials). Trust me, your experience will be much better without lugging around heavy suitcases."

"Facilities: Well-equipped. Hygiene: The room was tidy, everything was neatly arranged, and there were no strange odors. Environment: Their common areas are very spacious, with a book bar, tea bar, and other lounge areas, as well as a scenic walkway and attic – very impressive. Service: The butler service was excellent. They contacted me a day in advance to provide directions and even helped carry my luggage, which really lightened my load. Miao Traditional Attire Experience: Their Miao costumes are authentic ceremonial outfits. Although you can only take photos within the inn, their photo spots are also excellent, making for a truly immersive experience. Self-service KTV: I was pleasantly surprised that their KTV is free to use. After a tiring day of sightseeing, you can go there to sing and relax. This place is really great. Overall, I think this inn is fantastic. Next time I come to Xijiang, Boyun will be my first choice."

"The room is spacious and bright, clean and hygienic, the service is super good, the restaurant has dinner, you can eat here if you don't want to go down, it's super convenient 👍🏻The hotel has an unbeatable view, it has its own observation deck, super photogenic! The boss is also super nice! Highly recommended!"

"The view from this Guesthouse was fantastic, the stairs to get to the Guesthouse a little difficult. If you are elderly or not fit maybe consider staying somewhere lower. In saying that the host was very helpful and carrying our bags up for us and he was very friendly and accommodating.  The town itself has become quite commercialised but it is still beautiful to see the architecture and go for a hike into the rice terraces. "

"✨This time I visited Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, and the homestay I stayed in was simply amazing! 📍The location of the homestay is superb. You can get off at the scenic viewing platform. It is convenient to go anywhere. When you go out, you can see the stilt houses on the green hills. The scenery is beautiful. 🛏️The room is clean, tidy and warm. The bedding is soft and comfortable. I slept well for several days. There are also large floor-to-ceiling windows, which let in sunlight during the day and allow you to see the bright starry sky at night. 💁♂️The service is even better. The housekeeper is warm and thoughtful. From picking up at the viewing platform station, helping with luggage, to carefully explaining the travel guide, he is always responsive, which makes people feel particularly warm. The environment is beautiful and the facilities are complete. I highly recommend it to everyone!"
