"The location was in a small village outside of Mianzhu or Deyang. It was a beautiful place surrounded by farmland to the front and bamboo-covered mountains to the back. The staff were very helpful with our requests. We mainly communicated through translation app, as they did not speak English. The hot springs were available to us every day. You could easily walk or also ask for a buggy ride up to it. Some of the large hot spring pools were closed, we believe due to it being winter time. But there were still more than 12 hot springs open. If you are a westerner travelling here, don’t expect a cozy residents bar. There is a bar area but not that equipped. We did not try the hotel restaurants. We walked 1km or 2km into the village and had many cheap restaurant options and the locals were very friendly and accommodating with our lack of Chinese. The room had a torch also available, which made it easy to walk along the road when it was dark."
