The natural lighting was excellent, and the environment was clean and well-maintained. The front desk staff were also very helpful and friendly."

"Really liked this room, although one thing I would say is if you’re coming to China in a hot month (I was there in September) and you get a room where the bed is up the stairs, the air conditioning doesn’t really reach up there and it’s still pretty hot while being nice and cool down by the couch tv and bathroom. But the staff were helpful and the cleaners came quite often to empty the bins and change the towels so that was awesome."

"The hotel's location is right next to Tengwang Pavilion, sharing a building with another HUAZHU hotel. The room, though not large, is very clean and fully equipped. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. The front desk staff will explain how to connect to Wi-Fi and share local travel tips with you. Service gets full marks! Breakfast runs until 11 AM in winter, which is perfect for late risers. In winter, the room temperature is very high and cozy – you could almost spend summer in there. I booked a room with a side view of Tengwang Pavilion, and the night view was stunning. You can even capture photos of the Nanchang Star Ferris wheel. I checked in during the afternoon and witnessed a beautiful sunset, truly capturing the essence of the 'autumn waters and sky merging into one' idiom. There are many great places to eat and drink nearby. You can find delicious Jiangxi cuisine near Dashiyuan! In the morning, you can head to the early market for a Nanchang mixed rice noodle with soup, costing only about 8 yuan per person. It's also very convenient to take the bus to places like Wanshou Palace and Jewelry Street."

When we checked in, they proactively helped us with our luggage, patiently explained all the room amenities, and even gave us tips on local food and things to avoid. When we made a last-minute request to switch to a quieter room, they arranged it without a second thought, and with amazing efficiency. The room itself was clean and comfortable, the location was super convenient, and with such warm and helpful front desk service, our overall experience was absolutely fantastic. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we're in town!"

"The room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities. The projector TV had a good selection of movies. The front desk service was excellent, and they even recommended some great local restaurants. From the window, you could directly see the beautiful scenery of the attractions and the river. Highly recommended!"

"First of all, the location is very good, walk 200 meters to Tengwang Pavilion. Across the road is the police station, surrounded by various restaurants. Secondly, you can bring dogs and go to Lijiang every morning to walk dogs. Close to most well-known attractions. Finally, the front desk and the cleaning aunt restaurant waiter have a very good working attitude, especially the front desk is particularly warm and thoughtful, helping me upgrade the room. The room was very clean, no taste, I especially like the overall color, very soft. The air conditioning and heating are very sufficient, the bath is very hot, the disposable face towel and toothbrush towel are of good quality (of course, you can also park for free). "This was our second stay at this hotel, and everything was still perfect. We want to express our appreciation for one of the staff members at check-in, Yuki. She remembered us—perhaps because of our limited Mandarin skills (haaaa....haaa.....)—and went out of her way to ensure we understood everything we needed to know. Yuki also reminded us to reach out to her or her colleagues if we needed any assistance. Her efforts made our stay even more enjoyable!!"

"位置確實近，但是不知道南昌其他酒店是不是一樣的，但這家酒店對假期旅遊時遊客的接待能力很差，我們當天到了南昌準備放了行李去玩，結果前台告知上一批客人未退房…我們衹得在前台等，還有一大羣人也在大廳等待，要麼是未退房要麼是還沒打掃，但是酒店明明也寫的是12點前退房，12點後入住。這是想多賺錢，趁客人還沒來，提前把我們的房間拿出去做鐘點房了嗎？反正我們等了將近一個小時才得以休息，入住時送了我們等待的客人一個小禮物，安撫了一下我們，這水果真不錯啊🙂自己看亮點。"

"My roommates and I chose this as the final stop for our graduation trip, and the common area amenities were so entertaining we barely wanted to step out. We had belly laughs playing PS5 online battles, and in the evenings, we projected horror movies and all ended up covering our eyes in fear. The room was spacious enough for four, and the lockers could easily fit our hiking backpacks. The lighting around the bathroom mirror was perfect for applying makeup. It's conveniently located near the subway, making it super easy to pop over to Jewelry Street for some local spicy dishes. The cleaning staff came daily, and they even neatly arranged our cosmetics."

"Only staying one night in Nanchang, I found online that Shangri-La Nanchang is considered the best in the city, so I didn't hesitate to book a river view room. The hotel boasts an excellent location with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. The front desk staff proactively upgraded me to an executive room upon check-in, which deserves a big thumbs up 👍. The room was very spacious, with a classic, 'old money' vibe. The staff's service-mindedness was excellent, especially Sisi, who deserves commendation. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. Overall, my stay was fantastic, and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Nanchang. Highly recommended!"
