"The sixth stop of the self-driving tour in Shanxi, because we want to visit the first bend of the Yellow River entering Shanxi. After reading the reviews, I chose this hotel without hesitation and it did not disappoint. The hotel is next to Wenbi Tower and is an independent courtyard with a large parking lot in front of the door, which is great for self-driving tourists. The room is spacious and bright, with complete supporting facilities, a dry and wet separated bathroom, a very comfortable mattress, and plenty of hot water for bathing. Especially the cooked dishes are tasty and reasonably priced, very appetizing. Coming to Pianguan to visit Laoniu Bay is the best choice."

"This time I stayed at Lumingchun Hotel and the experience was great! As soon as I entered the door, I was attracted by the elegant and atmospheric decoration style, and the atmosphere was full. The room was clean and tidy, the facilities were complete and new, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and I had a good night's sleep. "1. Location: The hotel is located along Yellow River No. 1 Tourist Highway, at the entrance to Qiankunwan Village. Just follow the navigation. We drove from Hohhot, and the entire route was a national highway. While there were many S-bends and hilly terrain, the road was paved throughout, making it easy to navigate with minimal traffic. It was a pleasant stroll, stopping to admire the scenery along the way. 2. Environment: The hotel is large, consisting of several independent courtyards. The antique-style exterior blends harmoniously with the local countryside, clearly demonstrating meticulous design. Each courtyard has 6-8 rooms (I'm not sure). Our ”Wu Nian King Room” was the leftmost room on the first floor of Courtyard 6 (marked 1 in Figure 1). The courtyard and living room were shared (we didn't enter the living room). The room was small and decorated in a simple style. 3. Facilities: There is a row of charging stations in the hotel parking lot (I haven't tested them yet, so I'm not sure if they work). There is also a self-service vending machine and a restaurant. Figures 7 and 8 show the menus, with prices clearly marked. Whether it's affordable or not is up to you. I personally think the price is reasonable for this remote village. We ordered four stir-fried dishes, which were generous in size and quite flavorful (Figure 9). 4. Service: Satisfactory. Customer service called ahead to check our check-in time, provided directions, and recommended routes. Since we arrived late, we took our order. The food started cooking as soon as we arrived, and we were ready to eat soon after. The waitresses, who seemed to be locals, were very warm and genuine. Their kindness was genuine, not just a tricked-out experience. It was a very comfortable experience, and I give them a thumbs-up! 5. Scenic Spots: The hotel is very close to the Qiankun Bay Scenic Area (a 3-minute drive). Across from it is a small observation deck. A little further up the stairs, at the top, is a Ming Dynasty earthen beacon tower, offering an excellent viewpoint (free). Figure 5 is a photo I took from above. I didn't visit the Qiankun Bay Scenic Area, but I flew over there with a drone (Figure 10), and it felt pretty similar. 6. A few suggestions: There was a strong odor in the room. I don't know what it was, but it was so strong that even opening the window wouldn't dissipate it. There were a lot of mosquitoes, but there were no mosquito repellents in the room. Breakfast (Figure 5) was rather bland, consisting of millet porridge and a few side dishes. To sum it up: the flaws outweigh the merits, and overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. Highly recommended!"

"I went to Laoniuwan to choose a long-term accommodation. This is the first one on the roadside. The signboard of the homestay is called the Yellow River. It has not been renamed. It has its own yard to park. It is much more convenient to travel by car. Breakfast was delivered, which was quite heartwarming. Staying at a homestay, there are discounts for scenic tickets. Remember to mention it to the owner of the homestay and they will help you inform the ticket office. The Laoniuwan Scenic Area is undergoing construction and renovation. It is very dusty. It is estimated that it will take half a year to complete the renovation, and the scenic area is also a clean environment."

"總體來説我的入住體驗並不好。 先説優點：衞生很好，房間非常乾淨沒有異味，客房一面大門有單獨的防蟲磁力簾，所以沒有什麼蚊子蒼蠅。老闆做飯手藝不錯，菜品味道可以。位置可步行到達老牛灣景區。 再説缺點：1.冷水供應不足，水管裏冷水很細很細，所以洗澡甚至洗手都很難，老闆説是因為當地白天澆地缺水晚上會好，但其實這種情況直到凌晨也沒有改善。2.房間空調不能隨意使用，老闆説使用空調是另外的價格。當地晚上涼爽，但房間的結構並不能讓外面的冷空氣進到房間，除非半夜門窗都大開着，我夜裡1點多被熱醒睡不着，衹後悔沒給老闆交個電費給我開一晚空調… 總之，對於一路奔波在路上的遊客，洗澡水和房間的温度是很重要的，冷水問題我不知是不是當地普遍問題，空調如果需要收費的話也請明確標出，好讓需要空調的客人有個選擇。"
