"Our stay here was absolutely delightful. From check-in to check-out, every hotel staff member was incredibly warm and attentive. We arrived at the hotel past 10 PM, and the front desk staff were very helpful, proactively assisting us with our luggage and even upgrading our room. We had a private duplex villa with very new facilities. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft, and it was very quiet at night. Room service was responsive, and breakfast was good too. The location is fantastic, just a 2-minute walk to the Confucius Temple. Highly recommend!"

"One of the beset Shangri-la stays in a long while. The service of the staff was top-notch from the start. They were ethusiastic and welcoming. They would go above and beyond to get things done and were friendlly at all times. The best thing is they would figure things out ahead for you so you don't have to think. Truly impeccable service. The Chinese Restaurant is also superb — one of the best Chinese restaurants we've had, anywhere!"

"I really appreciated the Chinese courtyard design. The rooms themselves were well-designed and spacious. My only minor complaint was the hotel's overall layout, which could be a bit inconvenient. The property is quite sprawling, with multiple symmetrical courtyards arranged from east to west. From the lobby, reaching the northernmost guest rooms can be a considerable walk, easily 500 meters, and involves navigating through several doors. It's quite easy to get disoriented. However, the hotel staff were absolutely wonderful – warm, friendly, and always eager to help guests with any issues. The service was top-notch! This is definitely one of the best value-for-money Marriott hotels."

"This stay completely redefined my hotel standards! Every aspect, from service to the smallest details, was a delightful surprise. **Service Attitude:** Both the front desk and the cleaning staff were incredibly warm. They proactively helped with luggage during check-in and even thoughtfully gave a small gift at check-out, with smiles throughout. **Hygiene:** The room was so clean it practically gleamed! Bedding was changed for each guest, and there wasn't a single water stain in the bathroom. **Facilities:** The room had all the smart home amenities you could ask for, including voice-controlled curtains and high-speed WiFi. The biggest surprise was the terrace! It was perfect for enjoying the night breeze and views, and you could even have a DIY BBQ there – the ambiance was fantastic! **Breakfast:** This deserves a special shout-out! The variety of breakfast options was dazzling. Besides the usual Western pastries and fruits, there were freshly cooked noodles, wontons, and even Lu cuisine specialties like Confucius Tofu and Kong Meng Cake (soft, sweet, and delicious). The beverage area offered freshly ground soy milk and local specialty green tea. I simply couldn't stop eating! **Additional Experience:** The hotel lobby has a free traditional costume experience area. Wearing Hanfu for photos created such a wonderful atmosphere, with every detail perfectly executed!"

"I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's courtyard design. It would be even better if they could add a clothes rack or some outdoor seating to the courtyard. The hotel boasts a superb location, right next to the Confucius Temple. The site itself was once a granary, and it's now flanked by a Party School and a Marriott hotel. Interestingly, no buildings in the city are allowed to exceed the height of the Dacheng Hall at the Confucius Temple. Breakfast offers a wide variety. The room's bedding is comfortable, and the bathrooms are spotless. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful; on hot days, they'd always ask if we needed water before heading out. The thoughtful touch of a postcard in the room, paired with a pot of tea, provides a perfect way to unwind after a long journey. From here, you can easily walk to the Confucius Temple to witness its morning gate-opening ceremony, evening gate-closing ceremony, and nightly light show. Food delivery services are readily available nearby, and it's only about 1.5 kilometers from Qufu Normal University."

"I drove to Qufu, the hometown of Confucius, and searched for this hotel online. It was just a few hundred meters away from the Three Kongs Scenic Area. I felt very good. Although I encountered bad vendors in Qufu, the hotel's service resolved all my unhappiness. I didn't expect that there was such a good hotel in Qufu. When I just entered the hotel room, I asked the front desk clerk. How to connect to WiFi? After a few minutes, the waiter called again and asked if the WiFi was connected? Rare warm service. I wanted to go out for dinner, so I consulted the front desk clerk, who was very enthusiastic to tell me where the best restaurant was. I would like to remind guests who come to Shandong for the first time that the dishes are very large, and one person can't eat two dishes. 😂 This hotel. Good location. Parking is also convenient, just at the door of the hotel. The scenic area is also close, just a few hundred meters away on foot. When I left the hotel, the front desk clerk sent me mineral water. I would like to add that the room needs mineral water, which is unlimited. Next time I come to Qufu, I will stay in this hotel again."

"The hotel is only 10 minutes away from the gate of Confucius temple on foot. The traditional style and the statue of Confucius makes you feel like you are really here to visit this great philosopher’s city. The staff are friendly and they provide whatever you ask for. They gave us a book, a crad and a bookmaker as a gift. The breakfast was nice. The room was clean but yet could be cleaner. All in all, it works for visiting this historical city."

"The room is clean and well-equipped. It's not big but it's enough. The front desk staff is very enthusiastic and will serve you if you need help. The hotel is across the street from the tourist center. It's very convenient to go to the restaurant that ranks high on the Dianping list and walk a few minutes. I highly recommend the okra in this restaurant. The juice is great."

"Bring the children at home to Qufu to play, let the children feel the Confucian culture of Tao, and visited the Sankong Scenic Area and the Confucius Museum. Stayed at Qufu Mingzuo Xingtan Hotel, this is an old four-star Confucian cultural theme hotel, with both a sense of history and cultural heritage, and tasted the local special Confucius cuisine in the store. We stayed in the garden twin room in the Grand Hyatt Building District. The hotel provides butler service, helping to make an appointment for the non-legacy paint fan experience, non-legacy extension experience, and finally finished the extension butler and found Hanfu to take a photo. The children on this trip to Qufu have a deep harvest."
