If you are using public transport, the tourist bus from Shaoguan HSR (cny 30) stops right outside the hotel area. Lots of eateries around although all Chinese food. The Danxia night cruise is really good. The performances were a bit tacky but the night boat ride through the Danxia Mountain was beautiful. The bus after the show took us right to the hotel main road. Enjoyed my stay a lot! Hotel staff are friendly!"

"The B&B has a great atmosphere, definitely the best-decorated among the ones nearby. We later switched to a suite on the ground floor with a courtyard. There's a natural spring flowing into the courtyard, and sitting there in the morning, soaking up the sun and sipping tea, was incredibly relaxing. The owner was super friendly and attentive, giving us a detailed and correct itinerary for our Danxia Mountain trip. They even gave us special tips on how to tackle the 99-rung ladder on Yangyuan Mountain and the Cloud Cliff Plank Road, which saved us a lot of effort."

"This guesthouse is located in the Danxiashan Geopark, Yaotang, just beyond the large entrance gate. A 15 yuan entrance fee is charged upon entry. There are many restaurants and tourist shops. It is 500 meters from the accommodation to the Dongnan Gate (where tickets are purchased). Admission for 2 days: 100 yuan, with discounts for certain groups. The room on the 3rd floor was small, clean, and had a shower with hot water. We topped it off with two relatively small, thin towels with towels we brought with us. We loved the fact that you could preheat the bed with an electric underblanket, as it got quite cold outside at night. However, an electric heater would have been available if needed. A kettle is available. We had enough space on the large terrace in front of the room with a beautiful view of the mountains. Very good value for money."

"The B&B is opposite the northeast gate of Danxia Mountain, and you can walk to Danxia Mountain. The nearby rows of houses are all B&Bs. If you want to eat, you can dine directly on the first floor. The craftsmanship is pretty good. The room and toilet are large and clean. The boss is a veteran. There are old comrades who are fellow villagers with us. They chatted with us for a long time while waiting for dinner. It’s less than 100 yuan, which is great👍🏻"

"The front desk staff were very warm, polite, and efficient. We arrived before 11 AM and thankfully, the front desk promptly arranged a room for us. Luckily, the front desk staff informed us that the ticket office for Danxia Mountain Scenic Area was right opposite the hotel. They also explained in detail how to buy tickets, the process of driving into the scenic area, parking locations, and an itinerary suitable for us. The room and bathroom were very clean with no strange odors. The shower had sufficiently hot water and good water pressure. I really liked the hotel's garden; it was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was just so-so. The parking lot was well-lit at night and had security patrols. There were plenty of parking spaces. Breakfast was quite simple. There's a lack of dining options near the hotel, almost all of them are farm-style restaurants."
