While it wasn't super close to all the food recommendations, the city itself isn't that big anyway. Oh, and I have to mention how amazing their shared laundry room's dryer was. It dried everything in 30 minutes flat – I was seriously impressed! Then I looked it up on Taobao, and no wonder it was so good..."

The shower pressure is strong enough, and all essential facilities are available. Attractions: Taishan Museum, Meijia Grand Courtyard, Taishan Diaolou. Service: Polite, warm, professional, and friendly. Service response is extremely fast. Breakfast Buffet: Wide variety of options, and tastes good."

"We booked an apartment for our road trip to Taishan. The three bedrooms were just right; the unit was spacious with four bathrooms in total (three bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom, plus another bathroom in the living room). No need to fight for the toilet or shower! The rooms were clean and tidy, the furniture was new and not worn, and the soundproofing was excellent. Although the hotel is in the city center, we couldn't hear any cars passing by at night; it was very quiet. The room had a small terrace with a great view at night. We were all very comfortable and satisfied with our stay. The hotel is next to a pedestrian street, which is very lively with food stalls for late-night snacks and shopping. After dinner, you don't have to stay cooped up in the hotel; you can stroll around. As for the service, we were only staying one night in Taishan on our road trip, so we didn't have any special needs. However, I felt the front desk staff were friendly, polite, and always smiling. I stayed on a Sunday, and the room was not expensive, only around 1,000 yuan, which was a little over 200 yuan per person. It also included free breakfast and free parking. Even if it wasn't a great deal, it was still very affordable."

"The hotel room was brand new, built to the latest Vienna 5.0 standard, which definitely made a difference. The smart glass feature was excellent; once activated, the glass became completely opaque, proving very convenient. Overall, the stay experience was quite pleasant."

"The hotel is relatively new as compared to some of the other ones in the neighborhood. The room we booked was nice and clean. Unfortunately, they don’t have a fridge in the room which is inconvenient. The breakfast included was plentiful but quality is mediocre. But, this is no complaints considering this used to be a rural area of Kaiping. There are a few variety stores in close proximity that you can get some fruits and drinks so that is good. Will stay there again next time."

My only minor complaint would be that the air conditioning wasn't very effective; it would be much more convenient to operate it directly with a remote control."

"This branch is one of the best in Taishan. The location is close to the Pedestrian Road and a lot of good food places. The window views aren’t too amazing if that’s what you’re looking for. But the rooms are clean and the staff are very accommodating. The front desk ladies are AMAZING. Very kind and patient with our requests. I had a lot of deliveries and they always kept my packages safe. Overall, this hotel is great! Definitely recommend it if you’re looking to stay in Taishan."

"While the room type was acceptable, the hotel is quite old with outdated facilities. The moment we entered, there was a strong musty smell from the carpet. The front desk staff had absolutely no concept of customer service; check-in was painfully slow, they were abrupt, and incredibly unwelcoming. In the middle of the night, I couldn't access the upper floors. The front desk attendant was practically asleep and completely dismissive when I sought assistance. They only provide one key card per room, even for double occupancy, and since a card is required to access the upper floors, this was extremely inconvenient. Dining options around the hotel are very limited, with hardly any places to eat nearby. Parking spaces were also insufficient. When my child lost a key card, we were immediately charged a 50 RMB replacement fee. I suggested it might have been lost somewhere within the hotel, but the front desk staff completely disregarded my comment and insisted on the 50 RMB charge. Overall, it was a particularly terrible experience."
