It is the second largest island in Bohai Bay. Its area is called "small Macau in the north". After the application of the Xingcheng Government, on December 15, 2009, it was renamed Juehua Island, and the chrysanthemum island township was changed to Juehua Island Township. In 2009, the Xingcheng National People's Congress adopted the name change draft resolution. The Xingcheng Government believes that Juehua Island has more historical connotation and the chrysanthemum island of Xingcheng will be renamed Juehua Island.
