"Lovely little B&B in the sleepy town of Gongtan. The owners were very kind and warm people who not only helped us with our luggage, they made us feel at home by chatting with us over a wonderfully prepared home cooked breakfast and gave us food suggestions in the town. Location was good - not the nearest from the entrance to the town but central enough to access each side of the town easily."

"Lovely local minsu overlooking the river n mountain.  The minsu was located on the walking street not far from the jetty when we arrived from wulong.   The lady host was welcoming n helpful in accommodating our request for late lunch n non spicy cooking. There is a rocking chair in the balcony that looks into the calming river n mountain.  It is misty in the evening n early am. It was a comfortable stay w lovely view."

"The room was very satisfactory. The front desk lady was very warm and considerate. She upgraded the room. The hotel parking lot is very large. You can park for free by recording your license plate number at the front desk. It is also very close to Taohuayuan and Youzhou Ancient City. It takes only about 10 minutes to walk. There are also good food nearby. Convenient, good experience, recommended"

"The hotel has a great location, not far from the entrance of the ancient town, and importantly, you don't have to climb many stairs. The room was nice, the decor was new, the bed was comfortable, and it was clean and hygienic. The simple furnishings even included a smart toilet, a smart TV, and a smart mirror in the bathroom. Although the room faced the street of the ancient town, it was very quiet once the thick glass windows and doors of the balcony were closed. Finding a room like this in the ancient town exceeded my expectations. The owner was very kind, helping with luggage and providing excellent service! Highly recommended."

"If you’re traveling to Gongtan ancient town, I highly recommend this hotel! It is located right in front of the pier and looks exactly like the pictures. Sparkling clean, spacious room and very new. The host was very nice and they picked us up at the location where they drop you off if you take the shuttle bus from the Pengshuixi station. They also provided free drop-off too, to the same place they picked us up. The view was insanely beautiful and while there are lots of stairs, the host helped us bring our luggages to our room. I chose this hotel out of the other ones because it’s a divided bathroom and looked clean and new. The hotel also has a restaurant upstairs which serve delicious food that’s not too oily or spicy. Overall, highly recommended"

"This time, staying at Youyang Taohuayuan Forest Hotel, it was like stepping into a secret place where ”plant kingdom” and ”natural oxygen bar” interweave. The hotel is located in Taohuayuan National Forest Park, surrounded by towering ancient trees and the fragrance of plants. When you open the window, you can see the layers of green forests, and the breath is full of the freshness of negative oxygen ions. The enthusiasm of the staff makes people feel very cordial. Although the breakfast is mainly local home-cooked dishes, the ingredients are fresh and the vegetables are rich. It's just that the beverage containers are a bit casual (such as milk in paper cups), which is a bit regrettable. A small suggestion is to put an extra trash can under the washbasin, otherwise it is not convenient to throw things away. You have to throw the trash can here in the toilet."
