Well we were very excited about coming to this complex as it is new and has good reviews.we have been coming to Cyprus 45 years visiting our Turkish Cypriot family. We usually stay in kyrenia area but thought we would try the courtyard. We arrived Sunday and there was no cot for our baby. Asked every day and they said at reception the hotel was full and no cots available. They knew we were arriving with a baby. BUY MORE COTS ITS SIMPLE. No room service had to ask on Thursday for clean towels and sheets WHY? SUNDAY again had to ask in morning for room to be cleaned. 6 o'clock not done, back to reception. Housekeeping finished. It's very bad service We paid a lot of money for this holiday and so far have been very disappointed. We have another week yet. The hotel should have more English speaking staff the amount of English speaking visitors here. Also a good idea would be to have a canopy over the children's play area. It's in full sun and the baby pool has no shade either. I would not recommend this complex just yet it needs improvements

This is a good resort. The negative reviews understandably complain about the powercuts but it's not that bad. I only experienced one in the five days I was there and it lasted for about 2 hours, but the pools/bars are lit up so everyone just goes to chill there until the power is back on. Also, I had family members staying at a resort 5 times the price further away and they experienced the same thing (powercut). For the resort itself: main positive are the 18 different swimming pools! Great having a such a good choice of different places to chill out and swim (including 1 adults only one). The food isn't incredible but priced OK and the staff are all friendly and helpful. The rooms (with balconies) are really good too - perfect air-con and very good sized fridge/freezer. I was worried with the recent one-star reviews upon coming to this place but I have to let people know that, at least for an adult/couples, it's a decent resort with most of the stuff you'd want for a holiday resort that isn't near a major city. If you want to relax by the pool and get some much needed chill time - it's great.

Booked into this hotel because friends who just called in for a drink liked what they had seen. First impressions were good. Friendly receptionists and the place looked very nice. First impression of the room was that it was spacious, had a large bed and nice bathroom. On further inspection though we noticed = No tea/coffee facilities. Only 3 soft, cheap quality pillows. Bottom sheet not a fitted one and didn’t cover all of mattress. The quilt itself barely covered the bed area an it and it’s cover again seem poor quality. Mini bar had two bottles of different beer and one can of Fanta. No complimentary water offered. The only English speaking channel was a Turkish news channel. Some better points:- Shower was excellent. The sports bar was very nice, very reasonably priced with lovely staff. The restaurant food was nice but make sure you ask for time between your starter and main. In summing up this hotel I would say that with a few adjustments and and more attention to detail I would stay here again. Until then I’ll sadly give it a miss.

My family and I have been coming to this hotel for years, being from Cyprus, we like many others don’t stay here but come regularly and pay to use the pool. This year we have been overwhelmingly shocked by the downturn in service and hospitality. They offer β€˜poolside service’ but no one ever approaches to see if you need anything, you virtually have to chase them down! It is noted however, that they are very quick to take payment for the sunbeds when visiting but this is the extent of any sort of haste in service. The restaurant is much the same, we waited 1 hr for our food, some burgers and a salad and when we asked we were told by the waiter β€œI don’t know, I just take the order”. The level of deterioration in service is unprecedented. However, the main reason I was pushed to write this review is due to the disgusting service and treatment we received when attempting to use the gym and spa facilities. We opted to pay for an off-peak pass which meant we could use the gym and spa during the weekdays between certain hours and these were the only restrictions we were informed of before the hotel took our money. Upon using the gym for the first time (in our allotted hours) the man from the desk entered and stopped me 5 mins into my workout to inform me that I was not allowed to wear crocs in the gym and that it was okay for that day but from then on I would have to wear trainers. I then said that unfortunately I haven’t brought any trainers with me on holiday and always wear crocs to the gym at home so what am I to do? If there were specific rules regarding attire then it’s the hotel’s responsibility to inform guests before taking their money as he was now essentially saying that I was not allowed to use the gym I’d paid for. He then said he doesn’t have to tell me and that I should know that crocs aren’t allowed in the gym as everyone knows this and to not wear proper footwear in the gym is against international law?! How ridiculous!! I insisted that he refund my membership and he then said he would dock a day for the 5 mins I had spent there that day and he would need to call accounts and it would take a few days. He then (thinking I couldn’t understand Turkish as our entire exchange had been in English) then tried to complain to my father that he had been kind and reasonable to me and that I was making the entire thing into an issue. He was then shocked when I reiterated in response that it is the hotel’s responsibility if they want to impose ridiculous restrictions on guests to inform them of it. My father then went to see a manager who reiterated the absolute rubbish about international law and that the money would be returned in a few days (I’m not very hopeful). As I said, we’ve been coming for years and the way we were treated was simply laughable. We will never be returning after this, we had thought it had gone downhill but this was the cherry on top. Absolute ****** with no idea how to run a hotel.
