Find the Cheap Avdimou Hotels

I wouldn't recognise the Hylatio Tourist Village from some of the Reviews that have been left. This is our second visit and we would happily go again. We asked for the same room as last time and they were able to accommodate us. Yes, the apartment is dated, the beds on the firm side and the whole apartment could do with a bit of TLC and makeover, but it was more than adequate for our needs. Having limited mobility, I found the over the bath shower difficult to cope with and in this day and age, I feel that to be more inclusive of disabled people, the bath should be removed and a walk in shower installed. But I knew that and it was a compromise I was happy to make because we like the place very much. It's not huge which is what we prefer. The site has a washing machine and tumble dryer. A wash is €4 and tumble dry is €2, which is very reasonable. It also has a 'library' of books where you can help yourself to a holiday read. All the staff, including the owner were very friendly. They will help you with reservations and taxi bookings etc. The food can be a bit repetitive, but so are most AI establishments. We were able to get something we liked at very meal. The village is a 10 minute walk away, but we coped with that. During the day, everything is centred around the pool and bar, with not much else, so if you want other diversions to occupy you, don't come here, unless you are prepared to make your own entertainment. There was entertainment three nights a week, some acts better than others, but we don't crave entrainment every night, being quite happy to sit and have a glass of wine and just generally relax. I wouldn't recommend self-catering. The facilities for this are very basic and to get supplies if you don't have a car can be an onerous trek back up the hill from the small supermarkets, loaded with s supplies. The hotel could make this more clear in their advertising, I think. Don't come here if you are hoping for a 4 or 5 star experience for 3 star prices. Hylatio Tourist Village is relatively quiet and simple compared to most hotels, so if you want entertainment and busyness every day, rthis wouldn't suit you.

This was by far, the BEST experience we’ve had on our beautiful little island. The staff are incredibly unique, kind, took initiatives and looked after us very well! Mr George at the breakfast area, restaurant manager Panagiota, that always goes out of her way to ensure we have the best time ever! *we ve returned and ate at Cape Aspro several times even when we were not guests at the hotel and the service was always top notch! Anna from kitchen and Petar who served us were also amazing! Note that we are vegan & vegetarians and the whole team, from the chiefs to the bar members took extra care of us. Our housekeeper Marites also took super care of us and our suit in such professional and friendly way! And always asked if we are having a great time and if we need anything else. We also enjoyed the Spa and pool facilities. I can go on for ages! Book and experience this incredible resort for yourself. It’s totally worth it!

This was our third visit to this hotel, we were booked into a suite with private pool. The room was large and clean the bathrooms are particularly large, albeit maybe a little tired now but they and have a great shower with plenty of towels and basic toiletries. The private pools have been refurbished since last year, new tiling which looked really inviting. The pool was warm and was in constant use during our stay, certainly a highlight for us, with a really private setting no neighbouring pools making it fairly quiet. We arrived just before the evening buffet was due to close and staff offered to delay check in so we could eat, which was great. Breakfast is always good, with a nice selection offered to suit anyone. The all inclusive basis allows you to use the speciality restaurants which are all great, we also had a super meal at the Gate of India where you get a discount as a hotel guest. Every member of staff we encountered was polite, friendly and helpful, the bar staff are very attentive, always checking in and replenishing drinks. As always we were sad to leave and hope that we will soon be back for our fourth visit.
