Find the Cheap Hockenheim Hotels

I stayed at this hotel whilst visiting the Jim Clark Historics motor races at The Hockenheimring. The reception is efficient, the rooms clean and modern. The bathroom is excellent with a decently powered shower. The breakfast is more than adequate. The underground parking seems to be very secure. ”Premier Inns” in the Uk are of equal quaility. All in all perfect for an overnight or slightly longer stay.

We stayed for 3 nights in May whilst attending the motor racing. Relatively easily found - located between an autobahn and commercial area. Car park just about adequate for the hotel and popular adjacent eateries. Friendly, efficient staff. Modern, clean and functional hotel. Room was comfortable and well equipped - decent bathroom with shower over bath. My room (106?) faced the autobahn and a railway line in a cutting - as I sleep with the window open, the consequent noise was to be expected! Breakfast buffet was to a good quality with plenty of choice. The ladies servicing the buffet were especially cheerful - maybe thankful for a full hotel. Unsurprisingly not cheap, as you’d expect on a weekend with an event at the circuit (minutes drive away). Convenience comes at a price!

Hotel wurde aus 3 Gründen gebucht: 1. Nähe zum Hockenheimring (Empfehlung vom Pistenclub, einen Trackday-Veranstalter 2. Restaurant im Hotel 3. 4-Sterne Hotel gemäss Angabe des Hotels Am ersten Abend war es um 18:00 früh nicht möglich, ein Nachtessen gemäss Menü- Karte einzunehmen. Grund: eine Reisegruppe von 55 Leuten wurde erwartet (Restaurant hat 57 Innenplätze plus Terrasse). Ich konnte nur einen Burger in der Bar bestellen. Der Burger war leider sehr trocken. Ein Dessert (eine Kugel Eis wurde verlangt) war NICHT möglich, da der Chefkoch ‚beschäftigt‘ war. Schade- und noch nie erlebt! Am 2. Abend: Beach Party- nur Fingerfood möglich….. Toilette im Zimmer war nicht sauber geputzt (eklig!), ebenso waren Dusche und Waschbecken nicht sauber. Zimmer sonst iO- spartanisch eingerichtet. Das Hotel verdient wohlwollende 3 Sterne- der Rest ist Betrug!

I went to Frankfurt at 9:00 in the evening and went to the forest in the back of Stuttgart to do things. I really didn't dare to drive in at night, so I found this hotel. Very good choice.

The Leonardo at Heidelberg-Walldorf was a wonderful find in a pleasant location. (It’s the one on Roter Str., not the one nearer Heidelberg.) It has everything you need for a weekend stay or for FRA airport (90 mins away). You do need a car to get there but parking is free. The rooms are large and have a small fridge, a safe and air-conditioning. There’s a TV with many international channels. The wi-fi is good. I found the bed very comfortable. In summer there’s an outdoor pool, which has a shallow end and is very suitable for children. There’s also an indoor pool, which is 1.5m deep and has no shallow end. Children need to be closely supervised there. Near the indoor pool is a sauna. There’s a bar, which isn’t always open because of the lack of local staff. However, the restaurant will serve drinks. The staff in the restaurant are wonderful, especially the host and hostess, who take great care to make sure that all the customers are well served. Since the restaurant is very popular, dinner reservations are essential. Breakfast reservations are a good idea too. Ms Hrg on the front desk was extremely helpful with everything. I really can’t think of anything that this hotel lacks for a nice relaxed stay.

The rooms are great. There is simply nothing missing. Very clean and comfortable furnished. In the beds it sleeps fantastic. Various kits can be ordered and the first well-filled minibar is here even free. No wishes leaves breakfast open. It always likes. Top price/performance. 11 of 10 points.
