Find the Cheap Lindau Hotels

The hotel's door is directly opposite Lindau Railway Station, just across the road. The hotel’s breakfast room is on the side facing Lake Constance, facing the lighthouse and the Bavarian lion. It has a good view and a well-regulated European breakfast with few tricks. The rooms are simple and clean, not luxurious. It is already the largest hotel on the island of Lindau.

The location is very good, just a minute walk from Lake Constance. The hotel is small, but the details are very well furnished and comfortable. If you drive yourself, you can park your car at the door to unload your luggage. The front desk will give a parking card to the nearby parking lot. In fact, it is very close, 8 Euro per day.

A very positive experience. The hotel is located in a very quite area in Lindau, however close to the island. It keeps what mentioned on their web pages: room is nice and well equipped, bathroom is ok with a large shower, breakfast is plentiful and rich of sweets and savory, with fresh fruits that are different every day. To see it's more a house than a hotel, and this makes a positive difference in my opinion, because it makes you feel almost at home. And breakfast in the veranda is a great way to start the day. I definitely recommend it.

The hotel is located in an industrial area, but is walking distance to Lake Constance. The rooms are a good size with 2 single beds pushed together, each with their own bedding. The bed was quite firm but wasn’t uncomfortable. The pillows provided was one large soft one and one small one which meant you were lying very flat which I wasn’t used to. The room has a flat screen TV, seating area with 2 chairs and table. There is a work table, but it is quite small and the tea & coffee making facilities sit on it. The room does have air conditioning and you can hear something turn on when you put your key card in the slot, but the temperature in the room never changed no matter what buttons I pressed on the control. This was a little annoying as it was really warm. I had to sleep with the window open, luckily the traffic noise wasn’t too bad. Note the electrics in the room only work when the key card is in the slot at the door, so even if the room air conditioning worked, you couldn’t leave it on all day when you leave like you are able to do with other hotels. There is good storage in the room if you want to unpack, although the cupboard with the safe sits above the bench designed to put your suitcase, so every time I bent over to get something from my suitcase I had to be careful not to hit my head on the cupboard – I did hit it once or twice. There are no USB sockets in the room, so you need a plug to charge your electronics The bathroom has a good size shower that has good pressure and there is a lot of space around the sink for toiletries, it also has a hairdryer The hotel has a bar beside reception, although I don’t know what time it opens or closes. The hotel wasn’t serving food , but there is a McDonalds beside the hotel as well as a few restaurants within walking distance, plus an Aldi close by, and the island is about a 5 minute drive away. The hotel does serve breakfast and has a large selection – hot food such as eggs, sausage etc… selection of breads, fresh fruit, cold meats, cereal, fruit juices etc… The hotel doesn’t have a gym, but you can easily go for a walk or a run at Lake Constance to get some exercise. The WiFi was free and was pretty good throughout the hotel. Overall the hotel was nice clean and comfortable
