The Klassik offered an excellent value in the Altstadt of Lübeck. I took a single room with the bathroom down the hall and was pleased with my economical choice. The room was on the top floor and faced a side street. It was quiet and the windows allowed for good ventilation. The bathroom was modern and immaculately clean and toweling was of a very high standard. Each room had a kettle and all you needed to brew up a cup of tea or coffee. Breakfast was set up based on your order to accommodate hygiene concerns during the COVID19 pandemic. Parking in the large lots off Willy-Brandt-Straße were about 350 to 400m away and cost but €6 a day. A good assortment of restaurants can be found in the area.

This hotel must have been around for 20-30 years . It is a bit outdatet and old but has a good amount of german charm. This hotel has no elevator. There are lots of free parking around the hotel buidling. The hotel is located a few 100 meters from the holstentor. Pretty good location but the road next to the hotel was a bit noisy. The breakfast was very nice with good bread and a good selection of meat and cheese. Scrambled Eggs tasted good. I think we will stay here again. It was a cosy hotel with comfy beds. The receptionist had good English skils. The had som covid restrictions wich was easy to follow.

As an international traveler I care most about functioning wifi, A/C, and parking - basically in that order. The hotel is easy to reach from Hamburg via Autobahn and close to major routes. 25 min walk into the city, several shops and restaurants close by. Breakfast and bar is great, amazing view from 8. floor. Rubbery smell in the hallway. Parking is a nigh**are in the adjacent parking lot - very tight no space situation all around. Room clean with spartan ambiance that is called ‘nordic’ . No carpet and very clean. Not much room in the bathroom/counter. Wifi does not work - also it is an all open network hotspot causing additional problems with Mac/ I phone. A/C in room shuts off after short period of time with humid weather. Very minimal bedding - 1 small pillow with no additional pillows in room. Staff at the desk was helpful with late check-in. Otherwise unconcerned about the idea that most travelers need functioning wifi and expect A/C to work. Staff in the bar/ restaurant is amazing and super friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

GGuest UserThe beach lock is directly on the beach. From outside it looks a little weather according to the sea climate, but inside it is very beautiful. It has flair, is very clean. Also the rooms are very clean, beautiful and still new. You can stay here comfortably.

And surprises continued, as the staff was nice and the room was clean and quiet, the bed comfortable, great pillows, great shower, great wifi, AC working well. The breakfast offered multiple choices and was very generous; excellent coffees and great service.

GGuest UserMe and my husband stayed four nights in this hotel for our summer holiday in Germany in 2020. Nb not 2022. Perfect location close to the Altstadt and the river in Lubeck. Because of the corona the pool and sauna was closed. We thought that any 5 star hotel should have a gym but this hotel had not. We went to the High 5 gym near by. But we certainly recommend the High5 gym, and the reception should also recommend a gym when guests ask for it. Breakfast had a variety of offers. We spent a few mornings in the outside cafeteria on the lawn outside the hotel in the nice sun. The cleanliness was good and the staff was polite. But some of the receptionists seemed a bit more formal or reserved than we are used to from Scandinavia. A little smile or two can do a lot! We would like to come back for The Christmas marked.

OOsterreisenThe hotel is located directly at the front line (Travemünde Flaniermeile). We had a room with balcony for the front line with full view of the trave, travemünde, privail and parts of the port. Dreamful! The hotel, at least the front part, has come something into the years, but not habited or closed. Our hotel room was large and functionally furnished. All furniture were in a very good condition. Breakfast was served on table in the winter garden. There was nothing missing. It is still to highlight the motivated and very friendly staff of the house.

JJunia88Hotel location is very good, there is swimming pool and gym sauna, the hotel has parking lot but the seat is not much more than 14 euros a night. The disadvantage is that the floor of the room is gray on the side of the road, and the hotel may be old, the carpet inside the room is very dirty, the door I feel that the paint has fallen off, and the curtains in the room are also short. The morning sunlight can be glaring from below.

GGuest UserTravemünde, the Baltic Sea & perfect weather The choice for the Maritim Hotel was simple because at this time little rooms were still free. The pictures have convinced and Maritim usually has a good standard. Yes, the hotel is in a high house (3-13 floors are reserved from the Maritim as guest room) which I know also from other hotels. Three lifts with max. 3 people naturally lead to long waiting times. The worse is only ”ONE” lift to the deep garage with definitely max 3 people (with baggage rather only 2). This lift also leads to wellness area so very long waiting times. Well, the reception lacks desirable, because no instruction to the hotel, the parking ticket was only dipped on demand next day and the card for free use of the beach was also issued only on demand. Breakfast in the sea can be very different, for example, here was the coffee speciality (Latte Macchiato) extremely bad & coffee in the morning is extremely important or? Good was for example the salmon, which I can expect at the sea. But only to offer salmon I found disappointing.
