What is immediately noticed is the friendliness of all staff. You feel welcome immediately. Our room was maintained and clean, had a large TV, as well as stable Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Also a bottle of mineral water with glasses was available together with two pieces of chocolate. Also breakfast was very good. Egg food is even served on request and please. All in all it was again a very pleasant stay. On the corner you can drive by the tram U72 to the Düsseldorf city centre in a few minutes and leave the car standing on the parking lot from the hotel.

The hotel is very well located, quite comfortable and welcoming. Very friendly reception staff. The ironing staff leaves a lot to be desired. The breakfast variety is very extensive. On the other hand, the cleaning is terrible... they should take measures as soon as possible... hair in the bathtub... in other corners of the bathroom... you can tell it's dirt that has been there for a while.

I had a single room in attic/sloping ceiling €52 3rd cheapest on *********** booked day before. I arrived 23:30 and had to phone for a PIN code to get in.. was emailed straight away 👍. (Number above pin pad at main door) Small room but ideal for my needs sleep and business next day. Rooms clean.. staff very polite. On checkout asked me if it was too hot… I said yes a fan would have been nice. She said they are putting them in the rooms today. Coffee to go was offered at reception where breakfast is served. Breakfast and coffee good. I could really ask for more. Breakfast extra €13-14 I think. To sum up I will revisit if price is right.

Very hearty reception. We received greetings and although we were late, we were still asked if we wanted to eat something else. That was really nice. Our room was incredibly cozy and clean. It is even much more beautiful than on the pictures. The charm moved from the garden through the whole house. A successful mix of nostalgic and modern. Actually, as with me at home and as well I also felt. Very cozy atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was not impinging, but we missed nothing. A good choice. We had 24/7 free hot drinks choice at the machine and the coffee tastes excellent (illy?). We preferred breakfast in the garden because it was so mucky. Free parking and Wi-Fi. If we hadn't been on the journey, we would have been happy to stay a few nights longer. The hotel was a random booking and I recommend it absolutely further. Of us 5-Sterne Thank you for really careing for the well-being of your guests.

There's a beautiful hotel all right and clean just just unclear how to drive it

I stayed at the Friends Hotel Ratingen while passing through. The first impression was very positive. The hotel is relatively new and clean. The reception at the front desk was very friendly. The furnishings and setup are reminiscent of a mixture of the business hotel chains B&B and MotelOne (but not with their maximum efficiency) and the modern business hotels that I know from Istanbul. Nevertheless, everything was well set up. The breakfast is plentiful. If the last structural details are completed and the standard is maintained, the hotel has the potential for 5 points.

Das Zimmer war ok. Leider war mein Zimmer auf der Straßenseite und es war am Abend und in der Nacht durch den Verkehr ziemlich laut - das Fenster konnte ich nicht schließen, da es sonst sehr stickig im Zimmer war. Hinsichtlich der Sauberkeit der Zimmer gibt es noch Verbesserungspotential. Das Frühstücksbüffet war eine angenehme Überraschung: gutes und vielfältiges Angebot.

We booked this hotel at the last minute for 2 nights mid November. After reading some reviews, we asked for a room around the back, away from the road. That turned out to be unnecessary as the whole hotel is quite quiet due to quality double glazing and solid construction. Yes, it is under the flight path of Dusseldorf Airport, but that has a curfew from 11pm - 6am and most of the time the flights going overhead are landing (and therefore quieter). We wore earplugs anyway but we probably didn't need to. The view outside our room (#210) was sublime with yellow autumn leaves on all the trees and ground. There is a beautifull park out the back, with a walking trail for several kms. We found the room extremely spacious, with an excellent and supportive King Size Bed. There was so much room for our large suitcases, and the storage options with cupboards and shelving are thoughtfully designed. The large and bright bathroom has a really big bathtub! The hot water is fast and very hot, and the fittings are solid but tasteful. We found the branded bath towels to be super thick and comfy, great work! The bathroom has a good door, so we left the bathroom light on all night with just a sliver of light underneath to help us see our way in the dark. The checkin staff were helpful and patient with our German upon arrival. We would like to commend Herr Dievernich for his warm welcome and Frau Hartmann for her friendliness. The bus stop (Bus #751)is directly outside to get you to the local station called Hosel. We would like to commend this hotel for employing some more mature staff who we found to be warm and patient and seemed genuinely interested in us.
